Undercover DEA agent Caleb Black is home for the holidays—possibly to bust his own father. But maybe Caleb's con-man dad isn't the one running drugs through the small town of Black Oak. Maybe it's the green-eyed goddess who runs the New Age shop and has Caleb under her sultry spell.

Pandora Easton saved the family store with two words: sex sells. And her delectable aphrodisiacs really work, as she's proven with notorious bad boy Caleb again and again and again.

Little does she guess that, in the end, her most potent potion will be the truth….

Review

It Happened One Christmas is a delightful holiday romance that I will be revisiting year after year.

Lucy and Ross had an unforgettable weekend with each other six years ago and now on the anniversary of that amazing time they run into each other again. Lucy is still hurt by Ross’ silence after their weekend and wants nothing to do with him. Ross sees it as fate giving him a second chance to be with Lucy, who he knows is the love of his life.

I really enjoyed this couple. Lucy had dreams and she’s achieved them, but they didn’t give her the satisfaction she thought they would. I loved that she had gone out and done what she wanted to do. The heartbreak of losing connection with Ross didn’t stop her and helped to drive her to succeed. Ross’s life changed after that one weekend too, but he never forgot about Lucy. He’s a happy person and lives a good life without her, but he knows it would be better with her.

One of my favorite things about this book was that although they both were impacted by their weekend together they moved on. Neither one was pining for the other in an extreme way. I believe if they hadn’t run into each other they would have continued to live happily. They are whole people without the other one. I adore when characters don’t “need” the other one to complete them.

The story is written with a few flashbacks that fit into the present storyline perfectly. I liked that we got to “see” what happened in the past instead of being told. The dialogue between Lucy and Ross is fantastic and I loved how they resolve their past and make way for the future.
It Happened One Christmas is a sexy romance about getting a second chance with the one that got away.
