Review
Must Love Lycans is the 8th book in the Broken Heart series.
This book focuses on one of the sexy werewolf triplets – Damien. Damien is naked the first time Kelsey sees him. As a therapist at The Dante Clinic, this is really nothing out of the ordinary. What is out of the ordinary is Kelsey’s reaction to the sexy naked man. In addition to the sexual attraction, she is drawn to him and tries her hardest to keep professional. After dealing with a serial killer and losing most of herself to the fallout, Kelsey isn’t one to leap without some serious consideration. However, there isn’t time as Damien and Kelsey must escape from the clinic and get away from Dante, another paranormal creature, who wants Kelsey for himself.
Damien is just as drawn to Kelsey. He tells her that is was first her smell that attracted him to her. She smelled like home to him. The sexy and quiet werewolf from the previous books makes his mark in Must Love Lycans. I love how this character that has been around for a long time and remained such a mystery, unfolds and changes.
These two have a lot of chemistry and from the very beginning they make a great team. Must Love Lycans has a lot of action. The couple is tossed into chaos. It begins with a rival for Kelsey’s affection, Dante, and escalates as Kelsey faces the fact that she might not live long after Damien marks her.
The usual cast of characters is present. Queen Patsy, Jessica, Patrick and the others help Damien and Kelsey find their way toward happily ever after.
The only thing lacking to me was the plot. It felt as if there was something missing – although I’m not sure what. It just didn’t have the do-or-die feeling that the previous books have had.
