Review

Suddenly Sexy is a sexy and sweet romance.

Julie Kent wishes she were a secret agent or even a sexy villain, instead she is the uniform girl at an investigative firm that is on the print of closing. She daydreams about being sexy and confident. She also daydreams about her coworker, Eric Ranger.

Eric dreams about Julie too. She’s a beautiful and sexy woman that doesn’t know the power she has over him. From the moment they met he wanted her, but she was too good and too innocent for him. He didn’t want to taint her with the dark side of life that he saw as an ICE agent. Plus, his time at his godfather’s business was limited and he knew that Julie wasn’t one to have an affair. She deserved someone with roots and the ability to love her the way she should be loved.

Both Julie and Eric underestimate themselves and learn through the course of the book who they truly are and what they truly want. I loved the changes that they go through. Julie’s sexy aliases are amusing and I loved reading Eric’s reaction to everyone. But the thing I loved most was that he loved her the most as regular Julie. Julie also sees the real Eric.

Since this is a Blaze, there are many steamy scenes. There is one in a storage closet that is mega-hot. I loved how the intimate moments between Julie and Eric changed as their relationship changes. In the beginning they are fast and hard changing to loving and meaningful as they truly get to know one another.

The story moves at a quick pace, but doesn’t feel rushed. The author does a great job of keeping the reader interested.

Suddenly Sexy is a fun contemporary romance and will delight those who love the Blaze line.
