Series: The Sinners on Tour

Review

Hero Trey Mills is the guitarist for the Sinners. He has been in love with his band mate, Brian, for years but now Brian is married with a child and Trey’s dreams are squashed. Trey’s having a hard time connecting to men or women but all of that change when he meets heroine Reagan Elliot.

Reagan shares a passion for rock just like Trey. The two connect and Trey tries a monogamous relationship with her. Then he meets Ethan, Reagan’s ex-boyfriend and roommate; and the three share an intense and sexual connection. Trey will finally have to confront the issue of who he really is.

Normally I do not like to read books about ménages. It takes me out of my zone, especially if it is permanent or if there are too many scenes in a book. Every once in a while, I venture out of the safety of my comfort zone and read a book about multiple partners. So I jumped right into this story and I’m pleased to say that I enjoyed this book.

The past few books have tons of sex and there is no difference in this one. Trey is one sexy bad boy that can stroke anyone’s keys. There is so much more to him than sex. The story is about identity, sexuality and finding peace. I think there are so many people out there who can relate to Trey’s character. Because he is such a deep character, he brings out more sensuality in the sex scenes.

I can say that I didn’t like the way that Ethan approached Trey in the beginning. After all the things that went wrong with him and Reagan, Ethan could have been more sensitive when it came to Trey. Despite Ethan’s insensitivity, I liked that Reagan tries to make it work with Trey and Ethan once she realizes that they both love her and have a connection with one another.

My overall complaint with this book is that it is published out of sequence. It is technically the third book in the series but we see that the next two band members have already met their mates. We don’t get to know their stories. I hate when an author does that to the timeline because in the next few books, we will be going back in time.

Overall, I recommend this for fans of erotica.
