They were resourceful, beautiful, and intuitive—three female FBI recruits enlisted to expose a treacherous anti-government conspiracy in a sting gone bad. They may have escaped the perils of the mission, but darkness still follows them…

Abigail Foxe was the communications expert. The nightmare of her captivity still fills her with fear and shame. But now in tranquil Somerset, on the calm waters of Cumberland Lake, she has hope for the future. It begins with the exquisite touch of a stranger on the beach….

He’s Brogan Connors, ex-Marine haunted by his own dreams of war, looking for solitude in his family’s old farm, and in the heart of a fragile woman. His rough exterior hides a tender soul, a man of gentle strokes that draw him deeper into Abigail’s most ravenous fantasies, and deeper still into a web of a danger he never saw coming.

For the past is about to invade Abigail’s tenuous peace, threatening her life and that of the man she loves—as desire and danger are locked in an inescapable embrace.

Series: Nauti Girls (Book 1)

Review

This book starts off five years after Dawg learns he has four sisters. Since family means everything to Dawg, he steps in to care for his family.

Nauti Temptress is about the oldest sister, Eve Mackay. Ever since Brogan Campbell has arrived in town, Eve has been crushing on him. The feeling is mutual but Eve has promised her brother that she will stay away from Brogan because Dawg believes he is a traitor.

Brogan’s mission is to get close to Eve for reasons the readers are unaware of. After eighteen months, Brogan is tired of holding back. He makes his move and the two fall into bed. Of course, there are bad guys and some convoluted drama to follow.

There is not much to say. This is the typical Lora Leigh book. There is tons of sex (I’m not complaining) and lots of drama. However, if you have read the Nauti series, you will get the same story with just new characters. The plot is recycled and there is nothing new added. In fact, I have no clue what the plot is really about. The entire Nauti Boy series cast makes an appearance. Readers get to see Cranston lure the guys into some more scheming which is not even shocking.

Eve is one dimensional and boring. The author does little to her personality, which is disappointing. Brogan is the typical male Ms. Leigh always creates. He is controlling, aggressive and loves sex. Though the sex scenes are hawt, I got tired of them quickly. Brogan’s fascination with anal sex and his logic for having sex (at the most inappropriate time) got old rather quickly.

Overall, fans of the original Nauti series might be slightly disappointed. I don’t think I’ll continue with this spin-off series. It adds nothing to the overall Nauti books.
