With the help of disarming state attorney Grayson Smith, Paige is determined to avenge the murdered woman and set an innocent man free. A string of mysterious deaths of women with a shared past sets Paige on the trail of a ruthless killer. The problem is, the killer's on her trail too.

Review

Gritty, intense and terrifying. No One Left to Tell give readers chills from the very first page until the very last.

PI Page Holden has been through a rough ordeal lately. After suffering a brutal assault that left her more emotionally and mentally shaken, she is trying to get her life back until she is thrown in another brutal case. Page springs into action as soon as a minivan crashes in front of her. The victim is the daughter in law to a woman she was suppose to meet the next day. Before dying, the victim tells her that the cops are chasing her and slips a flash drive in her hand.  She can’t go to the cops, so she goes to state attorney, Grayson Smith.

Grayson is a great male lead. I absolutely loved his protectiveness. From him introduction on, he proves to be a great alpha male. He is totally captivated by Page from the moment he sees her on the television and meeting her in person is just as intense.

He holds a lot of secrets and his story is just as interesting as Page’s back story. The two have great chemistry and their romance is very intense. The romance is slow and at a nice pace. It provides a nice buffer from the tension and suspense.

There is tension from the start to finish. There is a large cast of characters, which is confusing, but they all play an important role in the story. This book sucked me right in and I had a hard time putting it down.  Readers will get to see what happened to some characters from past books and meet characters from potentially future books.

Ms. Rose has a way of intensifying each situation she exposes while throwing in a lot of twist and curveballs. The plot is intricate with extensive details to help readers uncover the mystery behind the villain. I love getting caught up in her books and I can’t wait for another one to come out…possibly with one of the side characters in No One Left to Tell.
