Welcome to Valentine Valley, where the cowboys have many talents and love is waiting around every corner . . .

Ever since a heated late-night kiss—that absolutely should not have happened—cowboy Josh Thalberg makes former Hollywood bad girl Whitney Winslow's pulse beat faster. But when she decides to use his gorgeous leatherwork in her new upscale lingerie shop, Leather & Lace, she's determined to keep their relationship strictly professional . . . even if she wants so much more.

Josh has never met a challenge he isn't up for. Which is probably why he allowed Whitney to persuade him to take the sexy publicity photo that went viral—and now has every woman in America knocking down his door . . . every woman except the one he can't get out of his head.

But how to convince a reformed bad girl that some rules are worth breaking?

Review

Whitney Winslow is not like any person that has come to Valentine Valley. She wears sexy high heels and tight pencil skirts. She is hoping to bring her high end lingerie store to the small town. Half the town is for it and the other half is against. Josh and his family are in full support. He has even offered to do some leatherwork for her.

Working together is proving to be quite difficult since whenever they are around each other, they want to do more than work. Whitney convinces Josh to take a sexy photograph of his work and soon every woman in town is chasing after him. The media gets wind of his photos and the press starts to come to the small town.

I love me some Josh. He is hard working, loyal and loves his family. He takes on more than he should but he does it out of love for everyone else. Whitney has always had a troubled relationship with her family. She was a bit of a wild child and didn’t act proper. She got her act together and made her own way with her lingerie store.

It is fun to read how Josh courts Whitney. He really won her over and showed her what true love is. She needed a good sense of family and roots. I like the teasing from Josh’s family about his new found fame and love life.

The quaint and quiet feel of Valentine Valley warms my heart. I like the little elderly women of the town. They have their own drama too! Don’t let the age fool you. They even helped assist with some of Josh’s fame. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
