Against all odds, the Sorentino sisters saved their family's rundown New Mexico ranch, but the youngest has a dream that just may ruin their hard-earned peace--unless a certain sexy cowboy lawyer changes her mind. . .

Jenna Sorentino is as independent as they come. Despite her wild past, she's grown up enough to keep quiet about the identity of her baby's daddy, go to night college--and hide her plan to escape tiny Catcher Creek. She's also stopped dreaming of happily ever after--except in the case of gorgeous, rugged, Santa Fe native Matt Roenick. Too bad the oil rights attorney acts like he barely knows she's alive. . .

Matt knows only too well that Jenna's alive--in fact, she's driving him crazy with desire. But Matt's got his reasons for resisting her. And when her son's father shows up, those reasons multiply. Trouble is, Jenna's secrets are more complicated than he imagined, and forgetting her isn't as easy as he'd hoped. Matt knows life can be messy as hell. For Jenna, maybe it's time he got dirty. . .

Review

Jenna Sorentino was known as the wild child of the group. She got pregnant young and had to raise her son without the help of his father. Now she has got her act together and is looking forward to starting the next chapter in her life. Her older sister, Amy, is getting married to the love of her life and Jenna is determined to make sure it goes off without a hitch.

Matt Roenick has slowly built a bond with Jenna and her son, Tommy. Jenna is the type of woman that he doesn’t need in her life. He doesn’t want to headache of dealing with a single mom but the chemistry between them is off the charts and he can’t resist. There is pain and secrets that the both of them must share and overcome before a real relationship can emerge.

Jenna is about to graduate from school next month and she has yet to tell her sisters. She has accepted a job out of town and is eager to leave Catcher Creek. Her son’s father has threatened to come back and some of her secrets will be exposed. Starting a relationship with Matt might not have been her best idea but she has wanted him for so long.

Matt has dealt with some major setbacks in life. A medical condition left him feeling heartbroken and defeated. Jenna and her son remind him of the life that he could never have. He is willing to step back but he has a change of heart when Tommy’s father returns to town and a few twists are thrown into the mix.

I love coming back to this small town and getting reacquainted with some of the characters. Amy and Kellan got married and have a few more surprises. Rachel and Vaughn are still going strong. Jake, Kellan’s brother makes an appearance and has more to add to the story. There are a lot of secrets in this book which I didn’t necessarily enjoy but they added to the storyline. Jenna knows how to get herself into some mess. My heart broke for Matt. Everyone around him pitied him for what happened in the past. I was glad to see that he got a strong woman to help him out.
