Harrison Yates is scorching hot, but he's got a past that involves being left at the altar not too long ago. Sam is determined to make him forget about his ex, but when she makes her move, it flings her life into a spiral of chaos she never saw coming.

Series: A Little Too Far

Review

Note: Suffice it enough to say, you know you're absolutely entranced in a book when you have to put it down and tweet a "OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! OH. MY. GOD!!! to the author.

I know it’s only the beginning of the 2014, but as far as I’m concerned, A Little Too Hot is the new adult romance of the year!

This book raised the bar when it comes to new adult romances. And shockingly enough, the suspense element of the story didn’t take away from the sizzling-hot romance between Samantha and Harrison. It was exactly the right.

If you’ve following Ms. Desrochers A Little Too Far series, you became acquainted with Samantha in A Little Too Far. Poor Sam didn’t get the man she wanted in that book. And do you know why? Because Harrison was waiting for her, and believe me this is a guy worth waiting for. Trent who?(You know I still love you Trent).

Sigh. Harrison. He is definitely a hero to die for. Love him to bits. I fell in love with him right from the beginning and fell harder and harder with each page.

But here’s the problem with writing a review for this book. It’s called spoilers. And if I reveal what happens after a certain part in the book, that will be a major spoiler.

Here’s what I can safely tell you. Sam meets Harrison when she takes a job dancing at a club. Their attraction is immediate and sizzling hot. She does several private dances for him and things get pretty intense.  Because of her job at the club, Sam’s life gets a bit crazy and she’s thrown into constant contact with our resident hunk.

The sexual tension between Sam and Harrison is crazy hot. I love how their relationship builds. I love the push and pull between them. There’s one memorable scene I love when Sam decides to take a dip in the pool. Man I wish I could be inside Harrison head then. I know the guy was suffering (restraint is overrated, don't you think?).

I loved catching up with Lexie and Trent and getting a tiny glimpse of Alessandro and Hilary. There’s nothing like seeing couples from the prior books living their happily ever afters.

When I turned the last page of A Little Too Hot, I just wanted more. More of Sam and Harrison. I want to see their future. I’m praying there will be more books in this series. I’m completely addicted and I’m looking for my fix. ;)
