Perfect for readers of Susan Mallery and Rachel Gibson, Molly O’Keefe’s gritty and sensual tale of passion and politics features the brother of the heroine from the author’s beloved novel, Never Been Kissed. He’s a driven man who refuses to be distracted—until he meets a beautiful bartender who just may change his life.

With his chiseled jaw and thick blond hair, Harrison Montgomery was born to lead. Four generations of Montgomery men have served the state of Georgia, and now he’s next in line. Harrison, though, is driven to right wrongs: namely to clean up the political mess left by his father’s greed and corruption. But Harrison must first win his congressional bid, and nothing can get in his way—not even an angel who served him whiskey and gave him a shoulder to lean on and a body to love for a night. Problem is, she’s pregnant. Scandal is brewing, and there is only one solution: marriage.

Damage control? Ryan Kaminski can’t believe that a cold, calculating political animal now inhabits the body of the emotionally vulnerable stranger who gave her the most unforgettable night of her life. Really, she doesn’t want anything from Harrison, except to be left alone to have her baby in peace. But Ryan is broke, jobless, and essentially blackmailed by Harrison’s desperate family to accept this crazy marriage deal. For two years, she will have to act the role of caring, supportive wife. But what is Ryan supposed to do when she realizes that, deep in her heart, she’s falling in love?

Ms. O’Keefe takes us on another wild ride with her popular boys of bishop series. From the first page, readers will be lured into this story full of drama, secrets and romance.

Ryan Kamiski doesn’t seek out men often but when the perfect ken doll strolls in the bar that she works at, she can’t help but to try to make him feel better. A wild night of passion leaves her without a job, pregnant and broke. When she discovers that her baby daddy is a Montgomery her life starts to spiral out of control.

Harrison Montgomery has always known what was expected of him. He is the son of a ruthless political family full of secrets, tragedy and pain. Harrison finds himself in a New York bar drowning out his pain when Ryan’s honesty and warm smile gets to him. He never expects to see her again after their one night but her brother shows up at his door and declares that Ryan is pregnant.

Harrison is use to scandal but he is a Montgomery. They know how to handle scandals. He is not sure if Ryan is setting him up but with his upcoming election to the Senate at stake he proposes marriage. When she accepts, he comes to the realization that his new wife might teach him what is really important in life.

Ryan is shocked at how cold and mechanical Harrison really is. This is not the same vulnerable man that she held in her arms in New York. When she meets his family, she sees the reasons behind his harden mask. Ryan is soon caught up in lies, secrets and betrayal while discovering who her husband really is.

Whoa! I really enjoyed this series but I have to say that Indecent Proposal is my favorite so far. I like the intensity of the political world. There is a struggle for Ryan and Harrison to be real and genuine while playing the perfect couple. At times, they both questioned whether their personal life was real or their public life.

Ryan is the perfect heroine for Harrison. She is honest and spunky. She stands up to his dysfunctional family and earns their respect. She puts on a game face but knows when to show her vulnerability. She doesn’t apologize for who she is and I loved that about her. She really tries to do what is best for her new family. I love the scene with them at the school and she realizes that she will be a mother soon.

The subplots and secondary stories add so much to the book. I really liked Wallace and his ties. I even warmed up to Noelle and Patty (big shocker!). Ms. O’Keefe knows how to draw readers in and she didn’t hold back with Indecent Proposal.

To the fans of this series, please pick this one up. You will not be disappointed.
