Unlike the heroine of her popular thriller series, Georgia Delaune can’t afford to take risks or push sexual boundaries–unless you count spying through her neighbor’s bedroom window, and never missing a single move he makes.

Colby Wilkes is more than willing to put on a show for the alluring woman next door. But his dominant side aches to show her the pleasures of submission up close. As a counselor, Colby is sensitive to Georgia’s fears. As a Dom at The Ranch, a private BDSM retreat, he’s the perfect teacher to unleash her passion.

But just as Georgia lowers her emotional barriers, an unexpected complication arrives: a bad boy musician from Colby’s past who adds fuel to her heated imagination. Now, the lonely author has two gorgeous men eager to fulfill every fantasy she’s ever written–and one she’s never dared to dream….

First, I want to say this book was worth waiting a year for. It’s hot, emotional, and wet-panty invoking. Yes, I went there.

Based on the preview of chapter one (I didn’t read the back cover blurb), I had no clue this would be a ménage book. So I was in for a nice surprise, and a welcome one. Loren meets my erotic needs and my strong desire to get an interracial romance story all-in-one. It’s like she probed my mind, figured out what I wanted to read, and wrote it a year ago.

As for the story, I don’t need to say much about the sexy bits. They are hot, hot, hot. If you’re not a fan of getting inside bedrooms, getting down and dirty with toys, ropes, or M/M interactions then I urge you to steer clear. This book has all those things. I’d say by far the Colby/Gerogia/Keats sandwich is even hotter than Loren’s other ménage couple.

Per the course, Loren throws in some awesome wrenches to this couple including some PTSD, a student/teacher fantasy, and some past situational issues that cause all the players to question where things are going, and if they’ll be able to go beyond fun times in the bedroom.

As for favorites, I love Colby. He’s big, lumber-y (yes, that’s a word now), and radiates dominance. Also, I didn’t see him in an M/M light before and at first was against it. But once the gauntlet was thrown down and the intimacy began I could not pull away. Loren knows how to push my comfort zones in unexpected ways and I can never get enough.

Keats is the anomaly, the surprise in the whole equation. He doesn’t fit the mold of a submissive and comes from a tough background. He’s also younger than the other two. So this could constitute as a May-December thing. He’s faced a lot of challenges over the years, but watching him embrace his sexuality, essentially find himself, is very empowering.

Finally Georgia. Oh how I related to Georgia so well. She’s a writer, she’s going through some serious tough times and she’s fighting against her own body. A woman who’s used to being in control and now she doesn’t have any. Surprising to find out she’s submissive and needing someone to take the reins for a while. Luckily, Colby is perfect for that exact reason.

I want to applaud Loren for breaking through so many barriers with this book – an interracial, drastic age different, ménage is not easy to do. It truly shows the beauty of erotica and romance all in one book. True love and pleasure has no boundaries among adults, and it shouldn’t.

Now for my one, teensy, complaint that keeps this book from being a 5. Where is my rope bondage? Colby is the master of rope. In previous books, he ran rope bondage classes, tied up heroines, and showed some extreme preference to tying people up. In this book there’s barely any. I got three rope scenes and the second two were extremely limited, so I’m le sad. I wanted to experience the bondage through Georgia and Keats eyes, a detailed, drawn-out, erotic excursion. Really, if that’s the one thing I’m not happy about then I guess the book is still a win-win.

Overall, if you like to push boundaries or love diversity in romance this book is a must buy for erotica lovers. I can’t wait for Loren’s next book… Pike’s story. P.S. This book also has a bonus short story at the end, so it’s two for the price of one.
