I’m a knitter, therefore any book that has anything to do with knitting always catches my eye. Suffice it enough to say that this one did. Now of course Lori Wilde’s THE SWEETHEARTS’ KNITTING CLUB is a romance at its heart, which sends the interest level up several more notches. Sadly, however, I’ve yet to read the book. My life has gotten out of control busy. There is a proposal to finish, the January/February issue to complete and life. But I’m not going to delay doing a post on THE SWEETHEARTS’ KNITTING CLUB. Just because I haven’t had time to read it yet, it doesn’t mean the 2 (two) winners of the copies I’m giving away won’t. 😉

“Throw a penny in the fountain of the Twilight town square, and you’ll be married to your first love . . . “

For ten years, pretty Flynn MacGregor has been turning down the same solid, upright man’s marriage proposal. Her friends at the Sweethearts’ Knitting Club tell her they’re a match made in heaven, but Flynn knows there’s only one dangerous reason why she keeps saying no: high school sweetheart Jesse Calloway. She was just sixteen when Jesse was forced out of town under a cloud of suspicion . . . but he’s never left her heart.

Now Jesse is back, and every time she turns the corner he’s there—gazing at her with his smoldering eyes and tempting her with his kisses. Jesse has never played by the rules, and he’s made it clear that he’s not going to now. And Flynn, who’s always done just what her family, friends, and fellow knitters have told her to do, must finally break free and claim the love that binds Jesse to her heart.

  1. This really sounds like a great new series (I heard book 3 will be about a Cookie Club…Yay).
I don’t have it yet (I’m still a bit behind) but I hope to read it soon. I have a really soft spot for reuions and small town romances. Plus Lori Wilde never disappointed me so I’m VERY impatient 😉

  2. This sounds like a very good book to read! Bad boys can turn out to be great men…Can’t wait to read it.

  3. Good luck to everyone. Sounds like a great book. I’m gonna look this author up, I don’t think I’ve read anything by her before.

Don’t put me in as I just won one.

  4. Hi! Please enter me in this giveaway. This is a new author to me, but I’ve been hearing great things about this book. I love reunion storys, especially ones about high school sweethearts.

I wish I had the talent to be able to knit. My cousin tried to teach me a few times, but I just never could get the hang of it.

  5. This book sounds like an awesome read and I would love to read it! I never learned to knit, I can sew but was never taught to knit. My mother didn’t knit so maybe thats why I never learned. Maybe one of these day I will try to teach myself, is this possible?

  6. I’ve read other books by Lori and love her writing style. This new series sounds really good! And although I’m not a knitter, I have a friend who is and would be thrilled to win this for her.

  7. This book sounds really good I haven’t read anything by Lori Wilde yet but I love discovering new authors.

It really is a shame when life gets in the way of reading I do know that feeling sometimes, especially this time of the year where there is so much to be done LOL

    Have Fun

  8. Lori is one of my favorite contemporary romance authors. I love the humor that she injects into her stories. Her Wedding Veil series was a joy to read.

Lori also happens to be one of the nicest and most generous authors that I have been fortunate enough to meet online. This new book of hers is getting wonderful reviews, and she is very deserving of its success. 🙂

  9. Oh, Bev, don’t enter me in this drawing. While I don’t have this book yet, I would like for someone who has never read Lori’s books to have a chance to win this one.

  10. I keep seeing this book on different sites. Sounds like a good read. Please enter me. Thanks, Sue

  11. This book is on my wish list! It combines two of my favorite things – knitting and reading – so what’s not to love? And it has an interesting premise, too.

  15. Sounds good. The bad boy is so often more attractive. Nice can be boring. Wish I did knit, but it is something I tried teaching myself and didn’t have much success. Of course I was living in the tropics at the time;o) No one knit and sweaters weren’t needed.
