Bev, is this suppose to be a first chapter or an entire story?
It’s more a scene or a couple scenes. The length is too short for it to be a real chapter.
I guess what I was asking, and not too well, is – does it need to have a resolution? or is it only a beginning? Is there going to be more built upon the winning entry like in fanlit?
No, there doesn’t need to be a resolution. It’s actually better if you end it on a hook.
Hi Bev, I was going to ask this question privately but there are probably a few of us out there who’ll ask the same thing =) Is this open to anyone of any country? As long as you meet the criteria?
Terrif! The creative juices began running the moment I read the prompts. One question I do have is the holiday theme: does the Christmas (or Chanukah) setting need to be explicit, or does the mention of the holiday season comply with the guidelines of the prompt?
@Bronwyn,
Oh yes it’s open to all countries. 😀
@Evangeline
The holiday season does not have to be explicit but readers need to know it’s there or it’s coming up.
Thanks Bev!
aww….I want to enter but right now I really can’t. I hope one day I will be able to do it. Good luck to everybody who enters!
