First, I want to apologize. I meant to post a reminder about the October Book Club Discussion of Ashley March’s SEDUCING THE DUCHESS yesterday.  Since I did not, I’m going to be moving the discussion to Monday, November 9th. So if you haven’t had a chance to buy, read or finish the book, you still have time. 😀 Remember those who send in their comments by 12:00 pm November 8th will be entered into a separate more lucrative prize of 2 books of your choice. Now because we won’t be discussing SEDUCING THE DUCHESS just yet, I’d like to look ahead into 2011. Can I say there are many exciting things going on in 2011, the most exciting of which to me is the release of my second book, A TASTE OF DESIRE. As an author, sometimes you can’t see beyond that date because getting ready to launch a new book is all consuming. But I do force myself to focus on other things–yeah like my daily life.

But as I was getting stuff together for the January issue, I realized how many other January releases I’m pretty excited about and many I think you will be pretty excited to read. So today is a pure pimpage day for my fellow authors who also have books coming out to start 2011 with…yep, romance. 🙂

My friend, Maggie Robinson’s MARRIAGE BY MIDNIGHT is another book you’ll want to pick up next year (well technically December 28th). MARRIAGE BY MIDNIGHT is the second book in Maggie’s Courtesan Court Trilogy and it’s fabulous. I read it eons ago and believe me it’s a keeper. Talk about your emotional angst, tension and heat! It has it all.

Did anyone else notice that Laura Lee Guhrke didn’t have a 2010 release. I did. I did speak to her about it in Orlando and I was more than gratified to hear that all my impatient waiting would not be in vain. Laura will more than pacify her fans with two–yes you heard me correctly–two back-to-back releases. Her January release, WEDDING OF THE SEASON, is the first book in her Abandoned at the Altar series. Again, need I tell you this is so my kind of book. Make sure you add this one to your To-Buy list as I’m sure it will be a keeper.

  38. I was lucky enough to get an Advanced Reader Copy of “How to Marry A Duke” by Vicky Dreiling and I couldn’t put it down. It’s a 5 star read! Lots of laugh out loud lines and scenes, loveable characters, and great writing. I understand there are two more in the works and we will get to see more of these characters. I can’t wait! Vicky Dreiling should write faster! LOL. She’s going to be a rising star that you won’t want to miss.
