Yes, it’s already that time. The preliminary round for ‘Tis The Season Writing Contest is over and the votes have been tabulated, the discretionary judging complete and the finalists notified.
First I want to congratulate ALL the entrants. They made the judging and rating difficult. Several of these entries need to be published so I know what happens–I was that taken by them.
Updated 11/15: Due to an error on my part, one of the entries which should have sent the author onto the finals, was not included in discretionary judging when clearly it should have. That author has now been added to the list of finalists. My sincerest apologies to Miranda.
So (drum roll please), the 11 Finalists are:
THE SPY WHO LOVED ME – Miranda Liasson
DEAD BEFORE CHRISTMAS – Cori Conrad
SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT – Melissa Cutler
A LIFE TOO ORDINARY – Linley Maroney
‘TIS THE SEASON – Emily Becher
A MELODY OF MURDER – Kellye Nye
COLORADO CHRISTMAS BRIDE – Cait Teal
LADY OF THE OPERA – Noelle Pierce
Stop by tomorrow afternoon when I’ll have more winners listed, this time for last week’s Book Giveaways!
