It’s snowing here in GA. I do love the look freshly fallen snow. It’s sooooo pretty. Doesn’t everything look so sublimely tranquil?

  1. Snow is always so beautiful at someone else’s house. We have a good coating of it here in Colorado. Might get more today. My downside os I need to dig out my car and start her up.

  2. I love the look and smell of fresh snow. It always smells and looks clean…Until, I realize I am freezing. We got about 6 inches last night and it is still snowing. It is the first real snow of the season.

These books look like they would be a real enjoyment. Thank you for the opportunity.

  3. I am so jealous! Why can’t it snow in Florida. We are not that far away. It looks so pretty.

  4. We are waiting for ours could have up to 5 inches. I really am tired of winter all ready. It looks good there, but I would rather have a sandy beach any day.

  5. Very pretty especially because it looks like a manageable amount in terms of shoveling!

We were hit hard in December and now are above freezing — everything has turned to slushy ice. Bleh.

  6. This Georgia girl is wondering what the heck has happened! We have seen a lot of winters with no snow at all, and now we have 2 snows already this winter. :-0

  7. What a lovely view! Our LA winters are always pretty temperate, so this is something I’d never see. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  8. Love the snow pictures. I don’t mind the snow as long as ice or sleet doesn’t come with it.

  9. Nine degrees here in northern Ohio this morning, up to a balmy 25 this afternoon, more snow coming tomorrow…agree with the beach comment above!!!

  10. Love the snow 🙂 It’s always really pretty to look at…if only it wasn’t such a hassle to drive in. haha. Thanks for the giveaway!

  11. Fresh snow is lovely.

But…after a month of snow, ice, trains and buses not running, sliding and not walking to work, I am quite happy that we now have mild temps and the snow has all melted!! Phew!!

  12. I love the look of new snow but to be honist I am sick of snow. We have had snow since the beginning of Dec. and I am tired of it. We have more on the way tonight. About the time they get the roads cleared off we get another snow. I am so ready for spring.

  13. I love the pictures! I also live in Georgia and we’re snowed in too!
Just finished shoveling the driveway. Now I’m about to sit in my favorite chair with a good romance, and some hot chocolate!
    Please enter me to win.

  14. We have about an inch of snow here with more coming Tuesday evening. It is winter in PA afterall.
    Love & Hugs,
    Pam

  15. I’m getting too old for this freezing weather and snow lol. We are suppose to get a big storm hitting us tomorrow. I live in PA so nothing new. I feel sorry for the southern states that aren’t use to driving in this stuff but I’m sure the kids are loving it! My daughter needs to get back to college some time this week and she’s at Edinboro in Erie, PA which gets really, really tons of snow. When we get 5 or 6 inches, she gets 1 or 2 feet. When is spring!!!!!

  16. These pics of the snow remind me of home. My husband and I just moved to San Antonio this past summer and right now I’m definitely missing the snow and the cold. It’s so much nicer looking at beautiful snow-covered houses than brown grass!

  17. The snow looks pretyy but I would not like to drive in it. It lends itself to sitting before a fire with a cup of hot chocolate and reading.
Both of these books sound really good.

  18. When I lived in Atlanta I think the most we ever got was an ice storm or two. I know that my friends that live there are enjoying the white stuff…especially their kids!

  19. I agree the snow is beautiful — particularly when not outside my door requiring me to either shovel or drive to work in it 🙂

  20. How beautiful! I love snow but I live on the Oregon Coast and it does not snow very often or much! We just get tons of rain! Thanks for sharing!

  21. Your snow is pretty, but I wouldn’t want to have to drive in it. I live in Florida, and we freak out if the temperature drops – it would be the end of the world if it ever snowed here.

  22. Great Snow Pictures!!!!! I live in Texas and we actually got some snow also, not that I had the day off though :0). Thanks for the giveaway I have not read any of the books, so it would be great to win.

  23. We too have 6 inches of snow on the ground and I’m personally not a fan of the cold and wet white stuff. Very much a sun worshipper, so summer can’t come fast enough.

  24. Love the pictures. We are expecting more snow tomorrow night. I guess I’ll be reading on Wednesday!

  25. Snow looks so pretty but it is such a pain to trudge through. It snowed pretty heavy where I live right after Christmas and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it won’t snow anymore this year.

  26. Wow, I’d heard that the Southeast had gotten snow, but that’s not just an inch or two, that’s a real blanket of snow. I wouldn’t mind one or two real snowfalls a year, but I live in NorCal and we never get any.

  27. Wow that’s at picture of GA! Did not expect that. I hope the city can handle that. Even in MD we never seem to have enough snow plows when we need them.
Love to win the books too- been looking forward to Wedding of the Season for a while 🙂

  28. Aww, it’s been a very busy month for ya, we don’t blame you.

It’s going to snow down here in NJ around tomorrow night. I live in a city, so our snow is nowhere near as prestine as yours….(oh noxious gas fumes and pissing pups- how you ruin the moment!!!)

  29. Thanks for the chance to win both of these books!

Our snow is due to arrive tomorrow afternoon (western PA). Not sure as to how much we’re supposed to get since we have conflicting reports on all stations! My best forecaster is my own 2 eyes when I look out the window & see what’s there.

  30. The snow does look beautiful as does everything after an ice storm. As long as the power doesn’t go out and you don’t have to get on the roads, you can enjoy it. We got about the same here in NE TN. The only advantage to my husband traveling to work, is he leaves at 5 AM and there aren’t many people on the road. He and my daughter work for the Post Office and they don’t close for the weather. We know how to drive on these roads having grown up on the Canadian border , but most people in the South don’t. It is also difficult because the road departments of the South just don’t have the equipment, salt and sand to deal with the conditions. With the amount of school they have already missed this school year, and they will miss a few days this week, they may be going to school for a good portion of summer break.

  31. Yes, the snow looks very pretty! 🙂 I just don’t like it when it snows so much it’s hard to go out anywhere.
Thanks for another giveaway! These books look fantastic!!

  32. I do love the look of freshly fallen snow, but it never stays that way very long, especially when you live in a city that’s used to regular snowfall. If the snow falls during the day, we’ll often have slush by the time rush hour is over. Though when it falls at night and you get to wake up to a clean, white world, it doesn’t seem to bad…

  33. I really can’t put into words what I feel about snow!!!! I love snow — a little at a time. No blizzards or 12 inches.

  34. Snow may be beautiful when you live in the Southeast but if you live in New England it just means more to shovel! I got a call from my son and his family in South Carolina. He was alrady planning on staying home from work because they were expecting about 3 inches of snow.

We are expecting 12 – 18 inches tonight and my boss told me – you live in Rhode Island – get up early and start shoveling. Since I live the closest to the office I have a feeling I will be the only one at work tomorrow!

PS – I’m in my 60’s and I HATE SHOVELING SNOW! I went to college in Arizona – please remind me why I’m not still living there!

  35. I live in a place where we get a lot of snow every year (Upstate NY) but it is pretty when it is falling and right after before it is disturbed, it is especially nice if you don’t have to drive in it lol

  36. Your snow is coming our way and I don’t want it. Snow is pretty the first time of the season and then I don’t want to see it again.

  37. Wow snow down in Georgia! i’m waiting on the snow her in NJ which should be coming in a few hours! Enjoy the snow!

  38. I have not read either one of these authors. I would love to!! A Taste Of Desire would be wonderful. But, I haven’t had a chance to read it, so, I can’ answer the question. 🙁 We don’t have as much snow as you do. But, it’s only 25 degress here right now. Suppose to get down in the teens tonight. Burrrrrr!!

  39. It does look tranquil. I’ve always wanted to have a white Christmas but I have never had one… the only snow that I’ve seen was at Mammoth Mountain, CA. LOL

  40. Great photo’s, here all the snow has dissappeared and it’s cold and raining. Better for traffic but gloomy to look at.
These books seem really good, so please count me in. Thanks!

  41. Beautiful pictures. As a northerner, born & bred and transplanted to NC only 10 years ago (to get away from all that snow & cold weather), it is IMHO that the only thing snow is actually good for is producing beautiful pictures. In my part of NC, we didn’t snow this time…just a thing layering of ice! Still waiting for the sun to melt it off my front porch!….(sigh)…..

  42. I never fail to be amazed when I see snow in Georgia. 🙂 But the pics are really pretty. It looks exactly like my street right now. Being up North is really getting on my nerves now with all this cold and 2 back to back storms. I’d love to transport myself in N.C. Would love to be entered.

  43. I miss the snow! We were on the first cruise of our lives and the weather was rainy and windy and pretty cold the last few days. Why have that without beautiful snow as we had in Michigan??? I loved the pictures.
    Thanks.
