The party may be winding down, but it’s just the beginning of another year of books, giveaways and fun.

So what do I have cooked up for today? Firstly, today there will be 6 winners instead of 5 and they will each receive 6 books instead of 5 because in addition to 5 print books, they will also receive a digital book.

Second, Friday’s questions are going to put you to work. I have a couple of fast balls in store for you. And since I’m already late, let’s get moving.

Friday’s Questions

1. Which of Margaret Mallory’s book or books have a Tudor as an important secondary character?

2. In Beverley Kendall’s ALL’S FAIR IN LOVE & SEDUCTION, what is the heroine’s father’s first name?

3. In Rose Lerner’s A LILY AMONG THORNS, why does Serena refuse to take money (sorry, I left that out) from Soloman the next time they meet in 1815?

4. In Beverley Kendall’s AN HEIR OF DECEPTION sampler ,when Charlotte arrives back in England, who did Alex intend to marry?

Answer all 4 (four) correctly to be entered to win the ereader. Answer at least 2 (correctly) and you’ll be entered to win the eGift Certificates.

***Answers can be found in excerpts or downloads on author’s website or sample downloads on most etailer sites.

PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWER on the blog. Email your answers to contests at theseasonforromance dot com and in the Subject line, please include Friday’s Answers.

And finally, what can I say, I love books. I have some unbelievably faithful visitors and commenters who are religious with their visits. Thank you ladies for taking the time out of your busy day to drop by and chat. You make this blog worth doing and keeping up with — even on the days I’m dragging big time and can’t think of one interesting thing to say. I know I’ll miss some folks, but here’s a short list of the commenters I’m talking about (you know, the ones that comment almost every time you visit) so today you will ALL receive a book and an additional entry to win the eGift Card and the ereader. Contact me at contests at theseasonforromance dot com and I’ll email you a list of books to choose from. 🙂 Again, thank you for your friendship.

Today, I need your help.  In between working on An Heir, I’m working on a contemporary romance titled REBOUND. The backdrop of the entire series is a bakery owned by three friends, and in REBOUND they get the opportunity to open up another store in heroine #1’s (Rebound) ex-husband’s upscale bed and breakfast (tucked in a picturesque New England sort of setting). The bakery specializes in French pastries but they also do all the various sorts of breads, cakes, pies, tarts, you name it. I need a name for this store…which will also be the name of the series. Comment with ANYTHING and you’ll be entered to win 6 books today. The top 3 names will get an additional book! If I end up using your name, you’ll receive a $25 eGift Card.

If it were four instead of three friends, “Petit Four” might be a funny wordplay…

  34. I’m terrible with names, but how about C’est La Vie? It doesn’t have anything to do with baked goods, but at least it’s French, LOL.

  46. Um, well. I’ll (belatedly) try my hand at bakery naming (and try to make sure it hasn’t been used yet).

    Divine Delights
    or
    Delectable Delights
    or for even more alliteration
    Divine Delectable Delights

Or instead of Delights, use Delicacies as in…

Divine Delicacies, Delectable Delicacies, Delightful Delicacies, etc.

Scrumptious Sweets (I’ve loved the word ‘scrumptious’ since I first watched Chitty Bang Bang as a little girl).

    Captivating Confections

    … I like alliteration. 🙂
