Thanksgiving is next week. Can you believe it? I have no clue where this year has gone. Seriously, time flies by waaaay too fast for me these days. I need a 36 hour day to get all the things done that need to be done. Christmas is in a little more than a month. Yikes!! I’m not even close to being ready for it.
And now that I’m older, Christmas is all about the kids — namely my son. He’s the one with the presents under the tree and the person who is up at some ungodly time in the morning eager to unwrap them. So it’s his day. Me? I don’t want anything (except everything Apple makes — which I’m not getting from anyone but me). Okay, that’s not exactly true. If the sky was the limit and the world had somehow already achieved peace, love and harmony, I think I could think of a thing or two I’d like. Hmm, how about two months touring Europe and a yearlong stay in France. Oh yeah, now we’re talking.
What about you? Let’s say we had world peace and cures for all the wretched diseases that plague this world and the sky was the limit, what would you ask for for Christmas?
If I could have anything, I would want my oldest son to meet THE ONE. He is so ready to be married and start a family, and he has had trouble finding the right person.

Gee, you took care of the hard stuff! I’d want happiness and financial security for my kids; safety, good health and happiness for the grandkids; plenty of free time for Hubby to play golf (because that keeps him very happy,) and some Amazon gift cards and free reading time for me!

Ooh, such a good question Bev. My ultimate would be a house of my own. One that was everything I wanted, not extravagant, but with plenty of space for my family and room for a guest room. Some to buy and not to rent, and that doesn’t come with a million and one things that need to be fixed.

I want the same as Cheryl does, but for my daughter. She’s a single Mum, working full-time as a Firefighter/Paramedic, and also in full-time Nursing school. I really wish that she could meet “The One” too.
Ooooo what would I want???? Hmmmm…. I would want to travel to Eroupe of course. We can even go together Bev!!!! I would also love to have my very own library to house my ever piling bookshelf and tables. Maybe even as grand as those in those huge mansions we Recency romance lovers think about
