I’m still SQUEEEEEing.

Samantha Young has a new book coming out early next year! A new standalone that has me champing at the bit. I’m not high on patience but it’s not like I have a choice, right? Now tell me this cover and the blurb doesn’t have you itching to read it. I dare you. No I double dare you. 😉

I’ll update as soon as I have the pre-order links. In the meanwhile all we can do is feast our eyes on Caine Holland…and anticipate.  🙂

hero

February 3, 2015

Alexa Holland’s father was her hero—until her shocking discovery that she and her mother weren’t his only family. Ever since, Alexa has worked to turn her life in a different direction and forge her own identity outside of his terrible secrets,. But when she meets a man who’s as damaged by her father’s mistakes as she is, Alexa must help him.

Caine Carraway wants nothing to do with Alexa’s efforts at redemption, but it’s not so easy to push her away. Determined to make her hate him, he brings her to the edge of her patience and waits for her to walk away. But his actions only draw them together and, despite the odds, they begin an intense and explosive affair.

Only Caine knows he can never be the white knight that Alexa has always longed for. And when they’re on the precipice of danger, he finds he’ll do anything to protect either one of them from being hurt again…

  1. Yes, that sounds & looks great! A stand alone is actually a relief. I am caught up in so many series, I can’t keep up!

  2. Sounds like I will enjoy this book very much, it is nice that is a stand alone. I have to admit I have never read a book by Samantha Young so I am looking forward to reading a new author. Thank you.

    1. I deeply recommend you try with the second (Down London Road) and the third (Before Jamaica Lane) books of the On Dublin Street Series, it worth it.
I wasn’t smitten by the first one (the first time I read, then I was :P) but I don’t know why I read London and Jamaica and I love them.
      I can’t count the times I’ve re-read them.
      So, give them a chance.

  3. I’ve tried the first book in her series but it was just good. I didn’t have the love for it like every one else did. Maybe I will continue with it. I do like that this is a standalone and that there is not a huge face on the cover. You can’t really tell what he looks like.

    1. Sorry, I left you a reply under the Sharon Summer commentary instate of below yours. My mistake 😛
