When a recent post goes viral and garners the attention of billionaire Braden Black everything in Skye’s world shifts upside down.
Starts out a bit 50 Shades of Gray-ish which scared me because I’m not a big fan of those types of stories but I came to like both characters and enjoyed where the story went. Braden is not like most billionaire. He comes across a bit cold but you can see it is just his style to keep people away. He is a self made man and knows exactly what he wants.
Skye is very organized and in control of her life. Being with Braden pushes her control to levels that she is uncomfortable with but can’t help wanting. She has never experienced any sexual experience as intense as she has with Braden. The only problem is that she wants more but a man like him doesn’t do relationships or does he?
I know some my label this BDSM and elements of it does fall into it. It is still a bit more on the tame side. Braden expresses some of his kinkier thoughts but they don’t actually play out just yet. I look forward to seeing how far they both will go. How dark is too dark?
The sex scenes are passionate and intense. I like how Skye held onto her control but knew when to let go.
The mystery around Braden and some of the other characters keeps the story flowing. I just wish that we got a few more answers. The story ends on a cliffhanger and I’m wondering why this story could not have been told in one book.
Despite the rocky start, I became invested. As mentioned, earlier there is a cliffhanger but I want to know what happens next.
