Check out books 11 and 12!
Miss Kate Daltry doesn’t believe in fairy tales… or happily ever after.
Forced by her stepmother to attend a ball, Kate meets a prince… and decides he’s anything but charming. A clash of wits and wills ensues, but they both know their irresistible attraction will lead nowhere. For Gabriel is promised to another woman—a princess whose hand in marriage will fulfill his ruthless ambitions.
Gabriel likes his fiancé, which is a welcome turn of events, but he doesn’t love her. Obviously, he should be wooing his bride-to-be, not the witty, impoverished beauty who refuses to fawn over him.
Godmothers and glass slippers notwithstanding, this is one fairy tale in which destiny conspires to destroy any chance that Kate and Gabriel might have a happily ever after.
Unless a prince throws away everything that makes him noble…

Fast track up the political ladder, fast cars, fast women—that’s Garrett McKettrick. Make that was. A scandal has brought him home to Blue River, a place where a man can slow down, take stock and plan his next move. Which doesn’t include staying at the family ranch with his brothers. A city boy for a long time now, Garrett doesn’t think he has the land in his blood anymore. But Blue River has other attractions, like his former high school nemesis, Julie Remington.
Now a striking woman and much-respected teacher, Julie comes complete with a precocious four-year-old cowboy, a three-legged beagle and deep ties to the community. Good thing they have nothing in common—except their undeniable attraction and a future brighter than the Texas sun.
Eloisa James is one of my top auto-buy authors. I love the idea of her ‘fractured’ fairy tales’ series…but then anything she writes is a must read, IMO!
Both books sounds good!
Bev, your site is awesome and the giveaways you have are super! Thanks for all that you do. All of the books featured so far for the Fourth Giveaway sound great!
Drolling at the new Eloise book.
Oh book of the books look fabulous! I love Eloise’s books and Linda’s cowboys!
Love those covers.
Can’t wait for A Kiss At Midnight, I love anything Eloisa James writes, and I’ve already got McKettricks of Texas: Garrett on my TBR shelf because I love Linda Lael Miller as well.
The James cover is very pretty, and smart to include tones of midnight blue given the content of the story. The Miller cover looks more like a beer commercial. Would not make me pick it up in a bookstore.
I loved the idea of Eloisa James writing a Cinderella tale from the moment I heard the first whisper of it. Now I’m even more excited that it’s about to be released and that she’s going to write more fairy-tale themed books.
My beer-drinking, former ALL-SEC-football-playing brother is crazy about Linda Lael Miller’s books. He never misses one. You have no idea how much that pleases me. LOL!
Both these books sound fantastic!
Thanks for the excerpts. Both books sound really good and I have added them to my TBR list.
I love Eloisa’s books, but have never read any of Linda’s books yet.
Both books sounds great. I love the cover art too!
Definitely looking forward to Eloisa James’ novel!
I like the writings of both of these authors…would love to read these books.
Oh, all of these great books are making my head spin! My wishlist keeps increasing every day.
I love Miller’s books!
Books 11 and 12 look great! I’ve never read either author but I’ve been interested in them. I will look out for these books.
I have the first two books in the McKettrick series. This would complete it.
Eloisa James is a favorite. I am reading one of hers now. I started A DUKE OF HER OWN today.
I’ve not read Miller’s books yet….but have enjoyed Eloisa James. Both look great!!!
I’ve read on both authors and they’re both good.. 🙂
I am adding this to my TBR for sure!
I love both Linda Lael Miller’s books and Eloisa James. Looking forward to these as well.
All of the books so far are amazing reads .

I had no idea Eloise James had a new book coming. Gosh that cover is beautiful and I so can’t wait to read! I confess I haven’t gotten the recent of Linda Miller but her cowboys rocked. I read the first trilogy so long ago that was the beginning of the McKendricks!
I love reading anything by Eloisa James. She’s just awesome.
