Since it’s the Super Bowl and in the majority of homes across the country, men are dominating the television sets, this giveaway should be all about choices for women! Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a good football game like everyone else, but I must say, growing up, my brothers loved it more.

Comment and to enter to win you choice of 3 (three) books featured below. GO STEELERS!

  1. Ooooh… a chance to win books? I’m so there! But only able to pick three? Choices, choices…. 🙂 Thanks for the contest!!

  2. When my husband and I first met, I had to be the one to turn him on to football. He wasn’t nearly as big a fan as I was. But that’s okay… he doesn’t mind me stealing the remote every Sunday, Monday, and Thursday during football season!

    GO PACKERS!!

  3. Beverley, what a great idea for a giveaway! I have my eye on 3 books I would love to have. Thanks for this chance to win today. Good luck, everyone!

  4. We are mostly a NASCAR watching family, but we do have our favorite Football teams! My husband is all about the Raiders, while I’m a Saints and Steelers fan. We watch the Super Bowl every year as most true Americans do, the commercials are a true highlight and it’s fun to see the obsessed fans cheering their teams on. Although I do watch and cheer there is so much testosterone in the air this time of year, it’s nice to have something for the ladies. Something for me to escape to when I need a break of all the yelling and sweating and food flying. Oh, one more thing….Go Steelers!!!

  5. GAME DAY! I’m making babyback ribs right now. Pizza for later. Great contest. Choosing 3 will be very easy! Good luck tonight!

  6. Whoo! Now this is MY kind of superbowl!!
The whole pinch of the paranormal is looking like
    a touchdown!

  7. I am eating Collard Greens and Hot Wings for the big game! Woot! I was hoping for the JETS to make it, but I’ll be rooting for Pittsburg today!

And what a wonderful contest. A little something for everyone. Putting my cap in for ‘In Case You Missed Me’!!

  8. Yep, I’m a Jets girl so today is just another Sunday for me. Though I do enjoy watching the commercials lol. Anyway, I would much rather be reading and just may be bringing a book to the party.

  9. I love the book givaway. I am addicted to books. Not too much into football. It will be on for the other half to watch. I will most likely be reading a book. I have to make a dent in my list of books to read. This is a good chance to do that.

  10. I have picked out a book to read between Super Bowl Commercials! We are having home made wings and onion dip and chips but that is about all.

  11. I’m not a sports fan so needless to say, I won’t be watching the big game! I’ll be reading instead, lol.
But I envy the food choice of some!

  12. Ohhh, so many from which to choose! They all look great.

Can’t wait for the game tonight — hubby watches for football, I watch the commercials.

  13. I enjoy football, but not as much as I used to. It has gotten too commercial. I have been enjoying college football more, but money is getting in the way of that too. As many other people do, I watch the Super Bowl more for the commercials than the game. We don’t have a favorite team, I just like to see a good game – well played by both teams, good officiating and no dirty playing.
Thank you for the giveaway. Hope you have an enjoyable game day.

  14. Don’t enter me, since I just won, but I just had to mention that my house is football free! Neither my husband nor my son is a fan. The gym will be nice and empty, too. 😉

  15. Making an awesome veggie spread for game day, but my favorite part of the day is the puppy bowl! Thanks for the contest!

  16. Book giveaway? Yes please!

Happy Superbowl Sunday! I only watch it for the commercials and of course it’s an excuse to make baked hot wings. 🙂 I can also catch up on reading while the game is going on. Thanks for the awesome giveaways. They’re always fun.

  17. I know nothing about football but have a bit of fun with hearing all of the camaraderie and bickering about which team will win. Fence sitting ain’t so bad and a few books added to the situation would be grand! That is a lovely selection you are offering and there are books in every category that look good…hmm, but the paranormals keep drawing my eye.

  18. Hello,

I love football…so I’m very excited about the game tonight. I’m rooting for the Packers!! I’m also looking forward to yummy snacks and clever commercials (hopefully). Thanks for the giveaway – it tough to choose a group, but I would select – hot historicals! Thanks.

  19. Hubby will be glued to the TV — he’s a Packer fan — me I could care less!!! Thanks for another wonderful contest!

  20. Not at all a pro-football fan. I strictly enjoy the food on a day like this. And so many of these books look great, so I’m hoping to win.

  21. Thanks so much! I’m avoiding anything Super Bowl related today. 🙂 Reading and some HGTV are on my schedule!

  22. Happy Super Bowl Sunday! I am not excited about the game since my Atlanta Falcons crashed and burned in the early play-offs, but I will still be watching it. We are making a family party out of it. I like watching for the commercials, too.

  23. What a great contest idea Bev! Thanks 🙂 Personally, I am about the commercials since my team was knocked out but, think the Steelers may do just that – steal it!

  24. Not interested in the giveaway – though those are some fantastic books… 🙂
But I had to say – Bev! Steelers?! Really? T_T You make me sad 🙁

  25. I can’t wait to watch the commercials. That is the only reason I watch the superbowl. Thanks for the giveaway Beverley.

  26. Yes! GO STEELERS. I would love to enter the contest. I would love to read more book. Thanks!

  27. Even if i dont win.. i will still read these books..lol via the library….or kindle. i am really excited i havent read some of these authors..

  28. Hey Bev, I knew there was a reason besides the mutual love of romance novels that I liked you 😉 Go Steelers!!!! indeed. Great selection of historicals there, I would love to win any of them.

And once again — Here we go Steelers, here we go!! YEA 😀 *g*

  29. You are SO funny Bev…..love a good romance story, but I do LOVE my football! GO PACKERS!!!
    Cheers!

  30. My brothers would usually be hogging the TV to watch the Superbowl, but this year we’re all at different locations. I do miss fighting them for the TV, though.

  31. GO STEELERS !!! YES !!!

Or as they would say in the Regency era – ARE YOU READY FOR SOME MASKED BALLS???

    Groan. Yep. It’s bad. Sorry

But, the snack buffet of books you have provided makes it all better! Thanks, Bev !!

  32. Go Steelers, indeed. Pittsburgh was my fi rst home out of college and I starved, job-hunted and worked there. Remembered getting Saturday bus pass and riding all over the city–it was a blast. Someday I’ll get back.

The choices you offer are enticing but I’m a sucker for contemporaries.

Thank you for this generous giveway.

  34. I have no interest in football but since my father’s family is from Pennsylvania, guess I’ll cheer for the Steelers!

  35. I’m a big football fan so I don’t mind when the game is on. Sure would like to win those contemporaries though.

  36. Yay, GO STEELERS! I live 40 minutes away from Pittsburgh so the Steelers are the team I’m rooting for! 🙂
Thanks for another giveaway! The books look wonderful.

  37. I really don’t follow football but were watching it just because! I don’t care who wins! Were just watching commercials and the half time show!

  38. If I want on facebook and twitter I wouldn’t even Know it was Superbowl time. I couldn’t be lead interested in football and thankfully my husband and brother are the same wy. But I DO love books. Good luck on your team wining I guess

  39. I don’t really care for football but I live with two sons and a boyfriend who love it, so while they watch it I am surfing the net. Thanks for the great contest Beverley!

    Chris

  40. I loved football when I was young. But, pro games aren’t the same anymore. It’s all about the money now and not the game. I’m reading instead now. : ) I’ll choose books over sports every time now. LOL Thank you for another giveaway!

  41. I am rooting for Aaron Rodgers, hope the GBP win.
Thx for the chance to win some fabulous books!!

  42. Thanks for the giveaway Bev. I’m not interested in the game. It’s on but I’m reading ! I would love to win!

  43. Watching the Super Bowl, but I have no idea who to root for this time. I really don’t know much about either team. Thank you for having such great giveaways!

  44. I’m not much of a NFL fan as I didn’t grow up here in the US so there is no super bowl here to night! I go for The World Cup, though! 🙂

  45. We got to our friends “Annual Family Superbowl Party”. The kids have fun together and the adults get to watch the game!

  46. I didn’t watch the game. I spent my time reading. Great books, thanks for the giveaway.

  47. Happy Super Bowl Sunday!

I kinda watched it. I read during the game and watched the commercials! lol There were a few good ones this year!

    Thanks for the giveaway.

    Lisa

  48. I am a college girl… So I really did not even watch the game **watches for things being thrown at me**
But I would love to be interested in any books… yayay!

  49. Thanks for the giveaway. I watched the Super Bowl but was not impressed with the commercials this year.

  50. Thanks for the giveaway! YAY PACKERS!!! Eat that Favre! LOL

@Stephanie M..IKR?! The only one I thought was cute was the Volkswagon commercial with the little kid in the Darth Vader costume. I was expecting something big from Groupon (after all they did turn down Google’s $6 Billion offer) but they completely disappointed.

  51. My father had his money on the Steelers, too, lol. Which is as close to the Superbowl as I come. Thanks for the chance to win!

  52. Go Steelers! Wow, these are some pretty awesome books that I would LOVE to read.
So once more ….. Go Steelers!

  53. Since the Ravens weren’t playing, I didn’t watch the game! These books sound great, especially the paranormal group.

  54. While my husband and sister watched the Super Bowl, I finalized my list of my favorite books in 2010. Then, I finished “Aching for Always” by Gwyn Cready. I had a great time during the Super Bowl and my sister made ribs, etc. and we had a great dinner. Sports fans need to accept that some don’t care for watching all that pummeling that goes on during a football game. Now, I do enjoy a great pass and catch when no one gets hurt.

I’m a hockey fan, but I don’t insist everyone visiting me during a televised game watch with me. I hate the violence in hockey, too. My Detroit Red Wings have three out with broken right wrists, one broken ankle, and assorted other injuries. I wish those injuries had been avoided with less contact. Go Wings!

    I read mostly historicals.

  55. On a bad note, we lost the game (more than they won it). Although it was very exciting but I like the superbowl to not be about making mistakes but that’s the way it goes. On a good note, all those books sound so very wonderful!

  56. Instead of watching the game, I was at the beach. Sometimes, I am just so grateful I live in California!

The historicals look great as do the paranormals.

  57. What a selection of books. I went to a superbowl party, so there was no getting away from the game.

  58. Great giveaway – now if I only could have gotten the computer away from my husband and son during the Superbowl I might have had a comment sooner. Silly me, I didn’t ralize that they had to be in contact with their friends as well as checking statistics DURING THE GAME!

Hope I didn’t miss the giveaway but I’ve been wanting to pick up some of the books and they closed my local bookstore. I’d love to win the Hot Historical – three great writers and love that Kieran is among them – she may be a “new author” but her writing is not to be missed!
