It is NOT a paranormal despite the fact that it definitely gives that impression. This is a contemporary romance. Okay, now you can proceed. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">~*~*~<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/authorkendallgrace.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-10996\" style=\"margin: 5px 15px;\" alt=\"charliesierratango\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/theseasonforromance.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/charliesierratango.jpg?resize=167%2C275\" width=\"167\" height=\"275\" \/><\/a><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Merilee Diego is desperate. With only days left to save her late father\u2019s charter company, she must seek aid from the one man who can help her. A man her father treated like a son. A man whose raw sex appeal never fails to send her pulse racing. Too bad he seems to hate her.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Lawson Manning isn\u2019t pleased to discover his final charter before branching out on his own is none other than his mentor\u2019s spoiled daughter. He\u2019s nothing if not professional, and decides to grin and bear it until he can rid himself of her in the Bahamas. His plan is thwarted when storms create an unwelcome detour to the hurricane-ravaged island of Walker\u2019s Cay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Isolated, with only their tempers and simmering attraction between them, the two do their best not to kill each other. It isn\u2019t long before they discover a more creative, and hotter, outlet for their anger. But off-the-charts sex creates a complication neither is prepared for.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">~*~*~<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #003300; font-size: 24px;\">REVIEW<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lawson Manning agreed to charter one last trip with his current employer before venturing off on his own. He would have never agreed had he known he was to carry spoiled Merilee Diego to Treasure Cay Island. \u00a0The two has never got along and being in close quarters is a disaster.\u00a0 Their feud is the least of their problems when they encounter a tropical storm that leaves them stranded on the island and looking for safety.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lawson and Merilee\u2019s history creates tension between them on the flight out. Lawson has always seen Merilee as spoiled and self-centered. She has never shown a real interest in her father\u2019s company but is quick to reap the benefits from it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Merilee knows that Lawson is judging her based on her distant and icy posture. She is facing guilt for leaving her home and following her dreams. She left her father\u2019s company in the hands of her brother who is greedy and doesn\u2019t have the company\u2019s interest at heart. Merilee is very vulnerable and insecure. I like that the author shows this side of her; making her more dimensional.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lawson doesn\u2019t know that Merilee is trying to save her father\u2019s company from her brother. She wants to enlist his help but when he explains that he has been working hard to save up for his own plane, she doesn\u2019t have the heart to tell him. She doesn\u2019t want to hold him back. Lawson struggles with his perception of who Merilee is and the person he is spending time with.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is my first read by this author and I will probably look for some of her other works. My biggest complaint is that the story is too short, leaving the plot very thin in spots. The racy steam factor is an added bonus.
