I’m going to add my two cents here, since I also read this book.<\/p>\n

It would appear that Samantha didn’t love I Think I Love You<\/strong> as much as I did. That could be because a)<\/strong> I’m a fervent Lauren Layne fan and b)<\/strong> I devoured the entire series and wondered if and when Brit and Hunter would get their own book.<\/p>\n

That said, I would give this one\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

Brit is tired of always being friend-zoned by men. Her dating life is getting worst and she needs a total makeover. She quickly tries to enlist her best friend, Hunter, to help her in the art of seduction. Having a male best friend should make this goal easy but spending so much time together quickly blurs the lines of friendship for them.<\/p>

This is the first book in this series that I have read and crazy enough it is the last book in the series. While it is a cute and funny romance, it didn\u2019t necessarily wow me. I come to expect the right blend of romance and humor with Ms. Layne\u2019s book. This just fell a bit short.<\/p>

Maybe because I didn\u2019t read the previous books in this series, I didn\u2019t know the vibe between Brit and Hunter. I have to say in this book the chemistry is lacking. They continuously talk about each other as best friends\/ brother & sister for the first half of the book. When they finally kiss, it is hot but the author does the job of telling us that it is hot instead of showing us. I think that made it hard for me to switch off the friendship vibe I got from the first half. Readers need to \u2018see\u2019 why best friends work well as lovers.<\/p>

There is conflict that is kind of petty in my opinion. I would like to think that since these two are best friends they would have communicated better once they started a relationship. Brit is so easy going and nice, she just brushes off whatever Hunter did. He should have worked to get her back. Down to the very end she is more of a best friend and even lover to him which slightly annoyed me.<\/p>

Despite my misgivings with this particular story, I\u2019m so curious to read the previous additions to the series. The other characters are all present in the story and some of them have big personalities that I\u2019m drawn too.<\/p>

Overall, if you want a quick and light hearted romcon this the book for you.<\/p>

Having a male best friend should make this goal easy but spending so much time together quickly blurs the lines of friendship for them.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is the first book in this series that I have read and crazy enough it is the last book in the series. While it is a cute and funny romance, it didn\u2019t necessarily wow me. I come to expect the right blend of romance and humor with Ms. Layne\u2019s book. This just fell a bit short.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Maybe because I didn\u2019t read the previous books in this series, I didn\u2019t know the vibe between Brit and Hunter. I have to say in this book the chemistry is lacking. They continuously talk about each other as best friends\/ brother & sister for the first half of the book. When they finally kiss, it is hot but the author does the job of telling us that it is hot instead of showing us. I think that made it hard for me to switch off the friendship vibe I got from the first half. Readers need to \u2018see\u2019 why best friends work well as lovers.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There is conflict that is kind of petty in my opinion. I would like to think that since these two are best friends they would have communicated better once they started a relationship. Brit is so easy going and nice, she just brushes off whatever Hunter did. He should have worked to get her back. Down to the very end she is more of a best friend and even lover to him which slightly annoyed me.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Despite my misgivings with this particular story, I\u2019m so curious to read the previous additions to the series.
