Tina has always been the chunky girl. She is living her dream when one night she falls in bed with Harris and shares all of her first with him. She is hurt when she discovers it was all a drunken bet. Later she finds herself alone and pregnant. She leaves to have the baby but the child does not survive which scars Tina.<\/p>

Years later, Tina is struggling in her career and her social life. Her best friend (Libby) finds herself pregnant with Harris\u2019s twin, Greyson. Libby and Greyson have a disagreement which causes Libby to leave. Tina offers them a place to stay but it brings up horrible memories and triggers for Tina.<\/p>

There is so much to say about Libby\u2019s story but I won\u2019t go into that. The whole novel read as a soap opera and it could have been so much more. I normally enjoy books by Ms. Anders but this pushed me too far.<\/p>

Tina had issues that she just couldn\u2019t work out for the entire story. I don\u2019t like a self-loathing female. I understand she had issues with her weight but she kept harping on it too much. I can totally sympathize with her but I wanted her to move past it. Tina doesn\u2019t have sex for ten years after the incident and she makes all of these terrible decisions because she is still traumatized. I wanted to root for her but I couldn\u2019t even muster up emotions for her which is just sad.<\/p>

Harris is ready to move forward with Tina. He acknowledges his mistakes from their past. He works hard on making things right. I like that he gives Tina enough space and time to deal with everything. He wants her to be open, happy and loving again.<\/p>

I did become engaged in Libby and Greyson\u2019s story. I\u2019m curious as to how it will all play out with them. I\u2019m hoping they get a story and knock it out of the park.<\/p>

Her best friend (Libby) finds herself pregnant with Harris\u2019s twin, Greyson. Libby and Greyson have a disagreement which causes Libby to leave. Tina offers them a place to stay but it brings up horrible memories and triggers for Tina.<\/p><p style=\\\"text-align: justify;\\\">There is so much to say about Libby\u2019s story but I won\u2019t go into that. The whole novel read as a soap opera and it could have been so much more. I normally enjoy books by Ms. Anders but this pushed me too far.<\/p><p style=\\\"text-align: justify;\\\">Tina had issues that she just couldn\u2019t work out for the entire story. I don\u2019t like a self-loathing female. I understand she had issues with her weight but she kept harping on it too much. I can totally sympathize with her but I wanted her to move past it. Tina doesn\u2019t have sex for ten years after the incident and she makes all of these terrible decisions because she is still traumatized. I wanted to root for her but I couldn\u2019t even muster up emotions for her which is just sad.<\/p><p style=\\\"text-align: justify;\\\">Harris is ready to move forward with Tina. He acknowledges his mistakes from their past. He works hard on making things right. I like that he gives Tina enough space and time to deal with everything. He wants her to be open, happy and loving again.<\/p><p style=\\\"text-align: justify;\\\">I did become engaged in Libby and Greyson\u2019s story. I\u2019m curious as to how it will all play out with them.
