When Ana Mar\u00eda finds herself threatened by a villainous nobleman, Gideon has to decide what&#8217;s more important: his heart or his votes.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">I enjoyed this book, but it does suffer from being the first in a series and trying to do too much.\u00a0 The historical setting and political landscape get a lot of attention, and Ana Mar\u00eda&#8217;s sisters are also highlighted to set up for future books. When Ana Mar\u00eda finds herself threatened by a villainous nobleman, Gideon has to decide what's more important: his heart or his votes.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">I enjoyed this book, but it does suffer from being the first in a series and trying to do too much.\u00a0 The historical setting and political landscape get a lot of attention, and Ana Mar\u00eda's sisters are also highlighted to set up for future books.
