Lauren wrote: <em>\u201cOne of the many reasons I sometimes wish I was a romance heroine&#8211;they never seem to have to wait for AM laundry delivery.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Since I read that while working on a really annoying project, I started thinking about all the little blessings romance heroines have in their lives.<\/p>\n<p>Forget the hot heroes; these are the <em>real<\/em> reasons I wish I were a romance heroine:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-7038\" title=\"stolenbride\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/smittenbybooks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/stolenbride.jpg?resize=175%2C276\" alt=\"\" width=\"175\" height=\"276\" \/>1. They never have to scrub toilets, grout or bathroom caulking.<\/p>\n<p>2. Their hero is always willing to pitch in with dishwashing\u2014often insisting on it without even being asked (unthinkable!).<\/p>\n<p>3. If I were a Harlequin Presents heroine, I could own an art gallery in Sydney without actually having to work hard at managing it while I run around with my billionaire lover.<\/p>\n<p>4. I\u2019d have friends with exactly the skills and experience I\u2019d need to rely on for every problem in my life.<\/p>\n<p>5. Perhaps most importantly, though, nine hours at the office could be glossed over in a paragraph.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>What are the little blessings that make you envy romance heroines?
