She gaped at him. \u201cMy fault?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, yours<\/em>\u2014the woman who drives me insane. Lifting her shaking hands, she tried to push him away, but he wrapped his arms around her and held her close.<\/p>\n

Turning before he could find her mouth and she lost all self-control, she said, \u201cI\u2019ll give you another chance.\u201d<\/p>\n

She wriggled out of his embrace, running upstairs to her room and shutting the door behind her.\u00a0 Pressing cold fingers to her heated cheeks, she closed her eyes and sank to the floor. What had she done?<\/p>\n
