My interests and hobbies are many but highlights include time with my big, wonderful family and friends, cooking, traveling, photography and researching history. A native of Boston, my love of American Revolutionary history continues to be sparked by David A. McCullough, A.J. Languth and Jeff Sharaa, while my action side thrives on Chris Kuzneski andDan Brown. I also enjoy romance writersAmy J. Fetzer, Patricia Rice, Karen Hawkins, Margo Maguire, Susan Wiggs, Suzanne Enoch and my fellow Florida RWA chapter (SWFRW) authors. I have a historical time travel WIP and enjoy writing reviews & columns for The Season, Netgalley, Amazon and Goodreads.
I didn’t start reading until after I graduated college a few years ago and needed a book to take on my trip to England. I pulled out Scandal in Spring by Lisa Kleypas have never looked back. I read just about anything but mostly historicals, contemporaries & paranormals. Some of my favorite authors areJulia Quinn, Lisa Kleypas, Susan Anderson and J.R. Ward (love BDB)... just to name a few. I love to travel and get lost in a good book. http://twitter.com/JamieLynn831
I've been a bookworm for as long as I can remember. I tend to prefer mysteries, but I'm also a sucker for good young adult novels and speculative fiction. My current favorite authors include Nancy Atherton, Victoria Laurie, Donna Andrews, Jasper Fforde, Ally Carter, and Diane Duane, but I'm always on the lookout for new additions to that list. I live on the coast of Maine with my fabulously talented pulp-writer husband, Chris F. Holm, and when my nose isn't buried in a book, I enjoy cooking, running, and feeding my pop culture obsession with good television. |

Arabella I was born on my family’s estate in the Cotswolds. As the pampered youngest child and only daughter, I was -- Oh, forget it. I was born and raised in the pine woods of NW Florida. But I’ve been dreaming of British manor houses and foxhunts since I was old enough to open a book, and now I write Georgian/Regency romances and chicklit. By day, I work as a lawyer for a local government agency and raise my two teenage daughters with my husband (fondly referred to as Lord of the Far Junior College.) As for what I read: Words. Words in a row, of any kind I can put my hands on. The more, the better. Visit me at arabellastokes.com or tweet me @romancemama.
Landra ![]() My first romance novel was Private Arrangements by Sherry Thomas in the fall of 2010. Since then I've tumbled into the romance category with a insatible appetite that will not relent. Prior to popping my romance cherry I was a huge fan of any fiction involving paranormal, sci-fi or fantasy. I enjoy a good paranormal read, Anne Rice enticed me first. I have the tendency to inhale books, at least one a day. My fav romance of all-time is Pride and Prejudice. My favorite authors list is long- but I love Anna Campbell, Beverly Kendall, Carolyn Jewel, Christie Kelley, Kieran Kramer, and Sherry Thomas. Taylor That love of reading grew into a love of writing that refuses to be stopped. Taylor writes the happy-ever-after stories that have enchanted her since she first saw The Little Mermaid. Her philosophy is that the world has enough sadness- books should show the best people can be because of and in spite of their flaws. She’s still searching for Prince Charming, so her heroes act as good substitutes for now ;) |
