Formerly known as The Season Blog, Smitten by Books is the updated, revamped blog run by me, Beverley Kendall. I write and love to read new adult, contemporary and historical romances. This blog is a natural extension of my love of books.

My publishing career started with Kensington Publishing in 2010 with my historical, Sinful Surrender. Since then, I’ve moved from traditional publishing to self-publishing. As a former IT professional, I’m constantly tinkering with websites and software, with a love of technical gadgets that knows no bounds.

I love to read stories with lots of sexual tension and emotion. Brooding, alpha heroes are my favorites.  I love heroes who speak like real guys and heroines who have backbones. I’m currently addicted to Outlander series.

Oh, and I’m always looking for recommendations.
