The only genre I don’t have right now is romantic suspense. But I do have something from the other genres I feature and review on the site. These are the books I’m giving away today. And for the mystery lovers, you’re in for a special treat–as I don’t usually have mysteries to give away–as MRS. JEFFRIES & THE MISTLETOE MIX-UP is a wonderful Victorian mystery as well as a November advance release and a hardcover. The other hardcover I have today is Christine Feehan’s DARK PREDATOR so if you planned to wait until it came out in soft cover at a lower price point, you don’t have to wait.

Today, I’d really love to see everyone stretch their wings a bit and try for genre you don’t normally read. 😉

Enter to win one of these fabulous books by answering these sentences:  I don’t read ___(genre)__ and I probably never will. However, I’m willing to try a  __(genre or book title)__.

  36. I don’t read horror stories (I would probably have nightmares for weeks and I could totally do without scary images in my head, yes I’m a wimp lol) and I definitely never will. However, I’m willing to try a Viking Romance (The Norse King’s Daughter). I generally stick to English Regency/Victorian books, and never had any interest in anything further back then that. I see that Sandra Hill has written quite a few books and has great reviews on Amazon so she must be a great one to try.

  37. Me too, me, too! I don’t read horror; can’t see myself doing it at all, but I try out YA from time to time when one seems out of the usual.

I don’t think I’ve ever read any of Sandra Hill’s Viking romances or any books by Jill Gregory. I’d love to try either of these books too.

    1. I just read Ender’s Game about two weeks ago. It was *amazing*. I mean. It was really worth its Hugo and Nebula. If you can, try to read both Ender’s Game and its sequel, Speaker for the Dead. Both books won the Hugo and Nebula, and both deserved it. They really, really did.
