Welcome to our 2nd day in The Season’s 3 day long Thanksgiving Giveaway. Rules for contest are in the prior post. Here is page 1 of 7 pages of fabulous books. Entering is as simple as commenting with your genre preference.  🙂

Now I’m going to ask a favour. If you haven’t commented already, please please help raise money for RAINN, a most worthy cause that brings awareness and help to sexual abuse victims, most of whom are children. This is a silent epidemic that destroys childhoods and lives.  The Season will contribute $.50 for every comment.

  15. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. One tradition that my family has today is, my sister, four of my female cousins and myself. We trade multiple volumes of historical romances that we have bought over the years and then argue about who is the best author and which books are the best. We also do this at Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, various birthdays, and, well, pretty much anytime that there is more than 2 of us!

    We read about it. We hear about it, and some of us has actually seen the damage such abuse has caused. Today, I’m especially thankful that we have RAINN, fighting against this type of WRONG that has corrupted our world, even today. Bev, thanks for helping such a great cause.
    As for the types of books I still favour I must go with Historical and Paranormal Romances.
    Reading these books, I sometimes wish I was actually living in that time of year.
    Working away from home, not seeing my family, living paycheck to paycheck, isn’t something I’d thought would be my life–but it is. Therefore, reading these types of books does fill that mental void. The dream of a never-ending romance, the intense passion one writes about, the feeling of being loved, and even a rollercoster adventure. Hum… If only…

  92. This is a new organization RAINN for me, fighting for an extremely important cause! My middle son is in grad school for counseling and guidance . I will seek more info from him. Thank you for sharing news of this organization. Woman and children need all the suprt they can get!!!

  93. Very worthy cause. For historicals, I also enjoy those with combined genres, say a bit of paranormal or time travel; love steampunks with their unique spin set in Victorian age.
