Didn’t get that ereader you were looking for? You’re in luck. Santa gave me an extra Kindle to give away to one of my visitors. And because he wants the winner to have books to read, he’s including a $20 Amazon eGift Certificate to help to fill their new Kindle. 🙂

  1. I would have to say my overall best gift this year is seeing the joy in my kids faces when they opened their gifts. I did get some Macys and JcPenneys gift cards thou….so I’m looking forward to going shopping!

  2. best thing i got would be vision. had 2 surgeries for cataracts and other eye related problems and now i can read books for the first time in 56 years.
You can’t even imagine the things I’m able to see now.

    Thanks for the contest.
    Julie

  3. The best thing I received for Christmas was spending the day with my parents, sisters, and their families. My parents are aging and my dad’s health is not good and we were all wondering if perhaps this might be the last real Christmas as a whole family unit. I am blessed with loving family.

  4. The best thing I got for Christmas this year was all my children were here to bring in the joy and birth of our savior.
    Christmas Blessings,
    Janice

  5. Finally figured out what was wrong with a paragraph that just wasn’t reading right. (Of course, now I don’t have that excuse for not writing.)

  6. After finally getting work, I was able to get gifts for my kids. My husband’s retiring from the military and will be home in the spring. I got a peaceful, happy holiday filled with hope for a better new year, plus new books to read. 🙂

  7. The best thing I received was the joy of watching my kids open their gifts. We struggled just to get Christmas this year. Just watching their little faces as they opened their gifts from us, and Santa is a memory I’ll never forget. We take for granted all the little things in life, just seeing the love and joy in my children is what Christmas is all about to me.

  8. The best thing I got this year was a gorgeous sparkly plastic ring my 9 yr old son gave me, he was soooo excited for me to open it on Christmas Eve, and I’ve wore it ever since. 🙂

  9. Best thing I got was hearing my 4 year old say ” it is just what I always wanted” over and over. W had the best Christmas ever which is amazing considering we have been without an income for two months and have three kids. We had lots of Christmas miracles.

  10. The best gift for me was being with my family and being able to get the kids a few things for Christmas. The sad part was our cat, Shadow passed away.

  11. The best thing I got for Christmas is spending time with the family and I also got a wonderful Amazon gift card to do me some book shopping with. Thanks for the great giveaway.

  12. The best thing I got for Christmas this year was my safety. We had violent winds in Seattle yesterday. I am grateful that my house and car were not too badly damaged by flying debris.

  13. The best thing I got for Christmas this year was a pink “Mom” coffee mug that my five year old son bought for me from the Holiday Fair at his school. It brought tears to my eyes! 🙂

  14. The best present that I got this year was my son and his family coming home from London. I hadn’t seen them for months, so I was so happy to have my family all together to celebrate with. My next best present was the automatic floor cleaner (Mint) that my husband got for me. I can’t wait to use it.

  15. The best thing I got was Christmas Eve with the whole family, lots of great memories made 🙂 Then Christmas morning and hearing the excitement in my boys’ voices that Santa came 🙂 And some new pajamas for myself.

  16. The best present this year I receive was kindness & thoughtfulness. I attended a Christmas party at my cousin’s home & when it came time to open gifts, I was very surprised that she had gotten myself and sisters gifts just like she did for her own family. I went with the intention of just spending time with family and eating good food, which I did, yet it turned out so much better because of the gift I was given & of how thoughtful my cousin was to think of her extended family as well.

  17. The best thing I got for Christmas was having my children come to my house for breakfast. The last several years we’ve gone to others, but I just love having my family at home. Of course my granddaughter was there too — that makes it even more special.

  18. My best gift was a decision to buy my first ever home. I am 54, just retired and have never owned my own home. I am buying one in the same complex as my parents! Yipee.

  19. The best gift I got was watching my 3year old grandson and 2year old granddaughter opening their Christmas gifts and really understanding for the first that Santa brought them the presents. They were so cute.

  20. How generous of you! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. My best gift? Hmmm…. Yooungest gave me a 25 gift card for Amazon plus a book of handmade coupons. Awesome. I also got the DVDs for The Bionic Woman and 6 Million Dollar Man. Woohoo! And last, I got a wireless key tracker. I’m notorious for losing my keys, LOL. Lots of other great gifts, but these stand out for me. Hope you got everything your heart desires 🙂

  21. I think the best gift I received this year was the ability to bring my cat Shadow with me to my parents’ house. I have medical appointments that are keeping me away from my own home for a longer time than originally planned, and my parents opened their home to my cat, even with their own two cats, so that she wasn’t alone for a week, and that I would not be worrying about her being alone.

  22. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you!!! I had a very nice christmas. My sisters bought me several framed Amish prints that I just love. They are by my favorite Amish painter. I look forward to hanging them. I hope Santa brouht you everything on your list!!

  23. I must admit, Christmas without my family was a bit depressing this year, but God had another plan for me. Having a job that consist with traveling ‘A LOT’ Christmas Eve, I found a church that celebrates the Christmas the way I was raise. We sang, we prayed for the homeless and hungry, and at Midnight, we joined together and watched a group of people re-enacted the Manger seen. Early the next morning, I helped this church prepare and served many who would’ve gone without food on this very special day–Christmas. Later, my family sent text messages, wishing me a Merry Christmas, and I talked with my daughter for two hours, as if she was there with me. This enlighted my spirit, and for the first time, in the most amazing way, it was the best Christmas I ever had, without my family.

Merry Christmas everyone, and my God Bless us all with a Wonderful New Year!

    1. Whoops! Again I faultered by my typing and proof-reading (and MAY God Bless us with a Wonderful New Year!)

  24. I got a Forever Lazy® and I love it. My husband wanted to buy me a griddle, but he didn’t want me to get upset that he bought me something that will force me to do work, so he signed it from the kids 🙂 Happy Christmas!

  25. Hope everyone had a great Christmas! The best thing I got for Christmas was a marble rolling pin from my dad and his girlfriend. Also, the time spent with family was a welcome break from hectic school schedules. 🙂

  26. My dad had a mini stroke on Friday, but was able to come home Saturday and was here for Christmas. So that would be best gift!!

  27. My son and his girlfriend gave me a set with an ornament, keychain, magnet and snow globe. All containing pictures of my granddaughter from our trip 2 weeks ago to disneyland! I have not even had time to get any made and put on the wall yet. And now, I have them on my tree, in my purse, on the fridge and on the table. Such a perfect wonderful gift. We had a wonderful day and I got a lot of great gifts. But no kindle. They are a little out of our price range.

  28. I have a nice Christmas because i spend it with God and my Family and Friends. The only sad thing is i couldn’t spend it at home with my kids.We spend it in my sister’s house with her children and her friends.but we had no gift.

Without that, i would say Christmas is the day that our Lord Jesus Christ was born, We should be glad and rejoice in it.

    Merry Christmas to all .

  29. The best thing we got for Christmas this year was two $100 gift cards to Walmart for food. We got them from someone at our church and were extremely thankful for them. I am on disability and my husband is out of work so money is tight.

Other than that, the best thing was spending time with each other and a friend we invited over for Christmas dinner. We had a fun time!

  30. My son drew and cut out a board game for me and his dad, and wrapped it by himself. Since he has Aspergers, the fact that he thought of making us something and followed through with it was very special to me.

  31. I had a wonderful day with family, food and fun. My favorite gift is turning out to be some purple moccasin slippers lined with fleece. I have been wearing them non-stop since I opened the box!

  32. I got some jigsaw puzzles for which I have a passion and a gorgeous bottle of Versace Bright Crystal and some chocolates. Now, if I had a Kindle and an Amazon gift cards with which to buy some books, I would be so happy!! 🙂

  33. Though I always love spending time with my family… I am going to deviate from the selfless declaration that none of my gifts mattered. 🙂

I <3 my mommy, and she got me something I very much needed for working at home: a laptop that isn't a heavy, broken dinosaur! She got me a brand new Acer Aspire. I can not tell you how desperate I was for a machine that would run without being plugged in and that didn't weight twenty pounds. Not only will it run the writing and editing software I need to write my novels, it will ALSO run the art programs I need to maintain my freelance graphic illustration career. I has exactly all of the features I needed in a laptop, and was even on my top 3 for laptops I would have bought myself had I had the money. 🙂 My mom is awesome!

  34. The best gift I got this year was my youngest nephew being so excited he hugged each gift and declared it the thing he always wanted … even the clothes. This has to be followed by the DS that my 8 yr old nephew asked his mom if he could give me because he and his brother broke my old gameboy advanced. My gameboy is still playable and how many 8 yr olds have that level of thinking yet? All three of my boys made my holiday special.

  35. I have to agree with some of the others and say that spending time wth my family is the best Christmas gift. With so much going on it’s hard for all of us to get together sometimes.

I do have to say I am also happy about the Barnes & Noble gift card I received. Hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday!

  36. The best thing I got was a $100.00 gift certificate to Amazon. Now I can get lots of books!! The worst was a case of the flu so I spent the day in bed!! I sure missed celebrating with the family.

  37. The best present I got this year was having all the family together at my cousin’s house as a different setting.

  38. This Christmas was spent with family, especially my Dad…this will be the last year with him, he health is declining, so everyone came over on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to spend with him. What a special day it was! From my son I received a Turtle necklace from my son…I love turtles.

  39. Wow! There are so many things. I loved spending time with my family and watching my kids open their presents, but I think the best gift was the blessing of sharing Christmas Eve service with the homeless. I had hoped to be a blessing to them and instead they blessed me.

  40. The best gift I have ever received for Christmas is the Love of my family! This year was a tough one. After 3 years of unemployment, our 401k’s wiped out, savings gone, we were not able to afford to buy gifts for our kids. We were able to get presents for our 3 Grandchildren, which was a blessing, but definitely nothing for each other. Our Children were great, and due to the kindness of my Brother, we had a nice Christmas Dinner. It proved to me that you don’t need a lot of money to have a great Christmas, just a lot of Love and a wonderful Family! I hope you all had a blessed Christmas!

  41. The most meaningful gift I received was from my two granddaughters, who donated a sheep to Heifers International in my name.

  42. Well being that I got only 2 real gifts and neither are great or exciting I would have to say visiting with family was nice.

  43. The best things i got for christmas was a kindle and smallville season 10…. i am hoping to win one for my mom because she loves to read as much as i do!!! xxxxx

  44. Wasn’t the most expensive, but best gift I recieved was a small pillow from my hubby. Message said: “If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you.” By Winnie the Pooh. Isn’t that the sweetest thing?

  45. My dad died this summer and this was a difficult Christmas without him. For Christmas this year my son enlarged to 8 x 10 a picture of my dad walking me down the aisle at my wedding. On either side of this he printed out the eulogy for my dad that my sister and I wrote. At the bottom of each page he put the symbol of the Polish eagle (Dad was so proud of his heritage). Then he framed it all for me. I cried like a baby when I opened it, and my son can give me mundane gifts like soap for the rest of my life. He can never top this.

  46. My best gift — – another Christmas with my dad He isn’t doing to well so every day is a gift.

I also rec’d Clothes and the Dragon software. No more typing just speaking. Can’t wait to try it out

  47. The best gift I got for Christmas this year was watching my kids faces light up like Christmas bulbs. They didn’t think they were going to have a good Christmas this year because their daddy was off work for a very long time with a broken foot. Spending time with the family and extended family and friends was second best things about this Christmas. No present could ever top the feeling of the love in my household yesterday morning.

  48. For Christmas, I was happy to see that ALL the family made the effort to go to my mother-in-laws house!! She was so hoping to see all the family and her face lite up when everyone was able to come!! It made her day! She lost her husband only three years ago (in Feb.) and the holidays are really hard on her.

  49. The best gift I got was to travel from Michigan to both Pennsylvania and South Carolina to spend time with my two older daughters I haven’t seen in awhile. The family time means more than gifts period!!! I will cherish every moment I got to spend with them.

  50. I received a handstamped “mommy” necklace from my three little ones…Ages 4, 2, and 10 months old….the only thing I wanted!

  51. I was able to spend a week with my son an his family. Then I was able to spend Christmas day with four out of five of my children and their families. Best Christmas in a long time.

  52. The best thing for Christmas this year was being able to provide Christmas for my 8 year old- she didn’t ask for much only about 8 items on her list, mostly books; but until a couple of weeks prior to Christmas we weren’t going to be able to do even that – so the second best thing was a job, even if it is temporary, it made my daughter’s Christmas bc we now really do believe in Santa at our house!

  53. The best thing I got for Christmas was a knife set, the colorful one from Costco. I have been needing new sharp knives for SO long! It’s great!

  54. Best gifts I received this Christmas: a salad spinner from my husband and younger brother and a hand-sewn linen pillow case.

    Thanks for the great giveaway!

  55. Watching the little ones open their gifts was so much fun; that tops the list. Having the family together for Christmas dinner (after juggling different work schedules to make it happen) comes next. The favorite gift I got was a long silver James Avery chain from Hubby, to hold several of my heavier pendants. Thanks for a great contest.

  56. TO SEE HARRY’S HAPPY FACE WHEN HE CALLED HIS MOM TO SEE IF SHE LIKED HER BOOK THAT SHE RECEIVED FOR CHRISTMAS. HE WAS GLOWING! BEEMING!

  57. The best gift that I ever received was spending time with my husband and being taken out to a live performance of an Andre Rieu concert.

  58. Well, for this yr, my 2.5 yrs old decided to make me a valentine card. She gave it to me with a proud smile and gave me a big kiss along with it. No idea why she wanted to give me a valentine card for x’mas but it’s her gift.. and it’s the best gift that I got this yr. 🙂

  59. I got a book by one of my favorite author, and it was autographed and made out to me. I can’t believe my friend went to all that trouble for me. It was wonderful and humbling!! Other than that just some cash to help pay bills since I’ve been on unemployment for awhile.

  60. The greatest gift I got this year was spending Xmas with family. I’m always travelig this time of year and this was the first Xmas I spent with family in years! It was nice watching the kids opening the presents.

  61. Uh… heh. So… I got two sweaters, a scarf, and…. O_o a mattress pad for Christmas… so I’m going to go with the cardigan. (Which, I’m basically calling a sweater. Cuz, you know.)

One of these days though, I’m going to get something bad-ass! Like… the $300 coat my sister got. 😛 *fingers crossed*

  62. I got money from my parents; that was nice. My grandma got me the socks I had requested and also a little money. My sister gave me a movie that was supposed to be my birthday gift (from May). Out of that, my favorite was the socks because I really was on my last pair, and I didn’t want to go shopping for them during the holiday rush. 😀

  63. The best present this year was spending time with my parents. My dad has dementia and hasn’t let us bring him to my house yet this year. I went over Christmas Eve to get him and this time he came. He was alert and was truly “with us” for our family time together. I spent some one on one time with my Mother on Christmas Day because she took another fall at her Assisted Living Facility and I had to take her to Urgent Care to get 8 stitches. We spent the time visiting and being just Mother and Daughter. We made it special 🙂

  64. I didn’t get anything this year but did get to see my 2 kids get a few things.

  65. My eleven year old daughter got ,e the OPI Rainbow Coonection nail polish, which is discontinued. She knew I wanted it, and she had to do a lot of looking to find it for me, since it was sold out in all the stores. I’m wearing it right now.

  66. The most important thing I got was the fact that both my sons remembered their sister in their Christmas blessings. We lost her last year during our pregnancy. Both were saddened but don’t really talk about her. For them to remember her was an amazing Christmas gift for me.

  67. Going to Christmas Eve mass with my family and spending Christmas day with my mum who is in the late stages of Alzheimers.

  68. Turquoise earrings that I’ve wanted forever. They are exact replicas from the Victorian era. I have lots of Georgian jewelry from the same company….. LOVE

  69. Getting to spend time with my family. I have had several deaths in my immediate family this year, so it made spending time with my family extra special.

  70. My best gift this year was a fondue set with a fondue cookbook. I’ve always wanted one, but never bought it for myself; now I have one for parties!

  71. It would have to be the Family Tree Maker software or the “Ultimate Boyfriend” Ken doll my daughter gave me to have for my date on New Year’s Eve. LOL

  72. The best thing I got was to be able to spend it with 4 of my kids. Last year, they were all busy and spent CHristmas elsewhere (except for the 12 year old) but this year they were all there. I was SOO HAPPY!!

  73. probably the tripod i got for my canon t3i. i couldnt decide which one to get on my own (what else is new) and then i got one under the tree! how sweet! cant wait to try it out 😀

  74. Unfortunately, Santa missed me completely this year and I would really love a Kindle! So I would be so happy if you drew my name. I always have my nose in a book and the Kindle would probably be worn out by next Christmas. LOL!

  75. The best thing I got for Christmas was for my skype to work so I could talk to my mom, dad, and little sis. Being overseas sometimes my internet works and sometimes it does not.

  76. The best gift, besides seeing my nephew open gifts, whether they were his or not :), were Gift Cards.

  77. The best gift I received this christmas was having all my children together… getting along… mostly

  78. The best thing I got for Christmas was pajamas! I love pajamas, I could live in them all the time if I could.

  79. My wonderful hubby got me the 3 Seasons of the Muppet Show! That and the e-book gift cards he gave me as well made it a great present!

  80. The best thing I got this Christmas was seeing my cousin open up his present. He is obsessed with the Bones series by Jeff Smith and I had found these great plushies. The look on his face when he saw what they were was priceless. He couldn’t stop playing with them the whole night!

  81. Kindle me this, kindle me that..did anyone else get to play with a big fat cat?
My Mom has a round cat that just loves to sit on your lap, I think I fell in love. If I didn’t have a very large dog currently residing in my living room I would have brought him home!
The best gift I got was a car seat for one of my twins…practical yes. Exciting not really, but I still love it!
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

  82. Besides the wonderful family fun, the best gift I received was help to finish the bathroom remodel. At last! A sink, door and more!

  83. Reveceived big box of chocolates, from my brother that was sweet of him, hope all had a gre Xmas, greAt giveaways thanks

  84. The best thing I got for Christmas was to spend the day with all my family. I’ll be honest, they have drifted apart in the recent years so it was wonderful to be together with all of them again. It made my day and my year!

  85. My best gift this year was being able to have our daughter, her husband, and their 6 month old daughter join us for a few days at the beach on Tybee Island, GA. We got to give her a break, so she could spend some quiet time with her husband, who has been ill with cancer. Bonus, we got to spend some alone time with our granddaughter. We all got to enjoy each other’s company, play Scrabble, and walk the beach looking for shells.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday.

  86. I got a pretty set of earrings and necklace from my mother and a beautiful angel blanket and pillow from a friend.

  87. Had a great holiday with family, got a very nice new coat and boots to go with it, and lots of Dunkin Donuts GC-my favorite coffee to drink.

  88. WOW, thanks for another great contest!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! 🙂 I got some great movies on DVD that I’ve been wanting to have!

  89. The best gift I got this year was watching the look on my kids faces as they opened their presents.

  90. My favorite gift for Christmas (every year) is the chance to spend it with my children. I received another of my Swarovski Crystal Miniatures for my collection too! Love those little things.

  91. The best gift was getting to spend the whole day with my family relaxing. Being around them is enough to make me happy 🙂

  92. My Mother gave me some beautiful linen – sheets & hand-towels. She knew I needed some. I love beautiful & practical in one.

  93. The best thing I got for Christmas was a whole, wonderful day with my family, good food, and good times.

  94. My two sons came home from college and a new grandgranddaughter. Family is the most important thing in my life!

  95. I most enjoyed having a lovely Christmas dinner with my husband. He cooked one of my favorites: crab legs!

  96. The best thing I got for Christmas this year was that my husband of 41 years was with me as we celebrated the holidays. He had unexpected surgury just before the holidays but even as he was recovering he made sure that we would have a Christmas tree to shine thru the night and welcome in the holiday on Christmas morning.

Some things in life are free and the best is the gift of love!

  97. The best materialistic gift I received this year is actually one I’ve yet to receive – a new Nikon DSLR, the D7000 from my husband. It’s on back-order due to its popularity, so it won’t ship until the 9th of January. But that’s all right – I usually get a little bummed out from the sudden letdown after Christmas, so this’ll give me something to look forward to.

My second-favorite Christmas gift is a beautiful silver, diamond and ruby necklace (also from my husband). It says “I am loved”, and the O in loved is actually a ruby. It’s gorgeous, and it’s such a special and true message. It feels a little egotistical t wear, but I still love it!

  98. My favorite thing I got this year was a Lord of the Rings Pez Dispenser Set with 7 of the major characters! I love this series and so love all the collectibles that go with it. And I never would have thought they had them in Pez! LOL Who knew a 34 year old grown woman and mom would love to get Pez for Christmas!

  99. I would love to win a kindle! I buy so many e-books now! 🙂
For christmas this year, I got an itouch, and that is where I’ve been downloading my ebooks to to read while I traevl! I love it b/c its handy and fun.

  100. The best thing I got for Christmas was a new wallet and a carrying case for my new kindle fire! Yes, that’s right I got a kindle. So I don’t need one, but thought I would comment anyway. For the lucky winner you’ll love the Kindle (any edition really). I’ve already grown attached to mine and won’t let anyone touch it. Lol! Plus pre-ordering and having books magically show up on your Kindle is a little like Christmas once a week.

Good luck to all the entries.

  101. This year my son (who recently turned 17) bought me a gift with his own money. What it was really isn’t important. What blew me away was that he thought about it and really tried to give me something that I would like. Also he took money from his savings to buy it.

While I know that our challenges aren’t over yet, this was a big breakthrough. He thought of someone other than himself, which has not been usual for him. I am so encouraged and am definitely feeling the love.

  102. I already have a Kindle & LOVE it so I am not entering to win but wanting to share…Truly the best thing I received was the news I had a healthy heart. Sitting around the Christmas table with 25 family & close friends I was so grateful for all of us to be together -it was an incredible gift that highlighted the real spirit of the season for me 🙂
PS Thank goodness for the books on my Kindle that filled hours of waiting, testing & soothed nerves!

  103. For the first time in too many years to count, I had all five of my grandkids home for Christmas. Couldn’t have asked for a better gift than that!

  104. It’s so hard to say what my best gift was this year, Seeing my twin 1 year old nieces for the holidays was definitely one of them. Watching my Brother’s two Foster Children (girls ages 14 and 17) light up when they realized that they were now apart of the family and that meant that yes they were getting gifts from all of us, and not just some lame gift of scented soaps either. Picking out the right gift for these girls was one of the most challenging tasks but it was also the most rewarding. To see their faces when they opened gifts tailored to fit them and their personalities was one of the most rewarding things, it brought tears to my eyes. And having them hug me and thank me for the gifts was The Perfect Gift that I could have asked for this season.

  105. My best present was spending the day with my wonderful husband. We’re newlyweds and haven’t yet been able to go on the planned honeymoon due to one crisis after another.

  106. My best gift was having the day off (my first since Thanksgiving). Mind you I’m grateful for the jobs (all 3 of them), but they didn’t exactly leave me time to do much of anything except work. For Christmas I was finally able to prop my feet up, grab a book, and settle in for a relaxing day.

  107. MY MOST PRECIOUS GIFT, THE LOVE HARRY BESTOWS UPON ME, YOU SEE, I KNOW IT COMES FROM OUR HOLY FATHER GOD. AND THE OTHER GIFT, HIS HOLY SON, JESUS CHRIST. SO WHEN WE CELEBRATE HIS BIRTH AND KNOW WHY HE CAME TO THIS EARTH, IT IS UNDERSTANDABLE THE JOY OF RECEIVING AN ABUNDANT OF HIS BLESSINGS. WE CELEBRATE BY GIVING AND SHARING OF GIFTS AND LOVE. THIS YEAR HARRY BLESSED ME WITH A GORGEOUS PINEAPPLE HEADBOARD AND FOOTBOARD, A WHITE COTTON QUILT AND RED COTTONS SHEETS TO ACCOMPANY IT. OUR BEDROOM DECOR IS HIGHLIGHTED IN RED. AND IN MY GLADNESS, WAS TO SEE HIS IMMENSE JOY IN CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS WITH SISTER DORALINDA AND HER DAUGHTER, GABRIELLA. AND ALSO HIS ANTICIPATION AT HIS MOTHER IRIS’S EXCITEMENT WHEN SHE OPEN HER GIFT, HARRY CALLED HIS MOM EVERY COUPLE OF DAYS TO SEE IF SHE COULDN’T HOLD OUT ANY LONGER AND OPENED HER GIFT, A BOOK! I ALSO ENJOYED WATCHING HARRY DECORATE THE CHRISTMAS TREE AND PLACED IT NEXT TO HIS SIDE OF THE BED, GIGGLING, WHAT PATIENCE THAT MAN HAS. I WOULD LOVE A KINDLE, BUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE SO MANY BOOKS ON IT? ARE YOU ABLE TO SAVE THEM? I MEAN, ALL MY BOOKS ARE PRECIOUS TO ME AND THE ARE STORED IN CONTAINERS FOR SAFETY.

  108. The best gift I got this year I got early. My sister bought three tickets for my sister, myself and my five year old niece to go see the Broadway Musical Beauty and the Beast. It was her first time going to a real production, and it is one of her favorite movies so we were all excited to see it. It was FABULOUS and it was so much fun to not only experience the show, but also to watch her reactions! Though the gift was the ticket to the show, spending time with two of my favorite people made it that much more special.

  109. I can’t decide what the best gift I got for Christmas was. My boyfriend got me a gorgeous Saga fox fur coat (not new, but in amazing condition and gorgeous) and my brother got me a Keurig coffee maker. I have used both every day since I got them, but I suppose I will use the coffee maker all summer, too, but I will put the coat away. 😉

  110. The best thing I got for Christmas this year was a speaker system for my iPhone. I love listening to music and this makes it easier to do so from my music lists downloaded on there.

  111. the best thing i got this year was my job i got called for an interview two weeks before Christmas and was hired a few days before. that was the best thing i got this year.!!!

  112. Best gift this year is a toss up between: Lost the Complete Series Set & Harry Potter the Complete Collection

  113. I struggled to get my two little girls gifts for Christmas, its been a difficult year for us but the look on their faces on Christmas morning was worth it all! They were so excited, it brought the joy of Christmas back into my heart. I would have to say getting to spend Christmas with the two people that mean the most to me was definitely the greatest gift of all.

  114. My best gift was ballroom dance lessons starting next month – I finally wore my husband down! LOL, he’s been resisting for a while. Thanks for the opportunity!

  115. I think my favorite present is the giant pink rocking chair I use at my desk. So much more comfortable than a desk chair.

  116. The best gift is spending it with my family on Christmas eve. Then on Christmas day we had a nice party with our friends and kids. I love cooking for alot of people.
Seeing the look on my grandsons face when he opens his gifts.

  117. The best thing I got for Christmas came before Christmas Eve. My husband and I were able to finally both get a few days off of work and drive down to South Carolina to see our grandchildren. We had a great time going to all their Christmas school programs. One of our favorite times with them is being able to tuck them into bed at the end of the day and read them a favorite story which also usually ends with them telling us what’s going on in their lives. Saying their prayers with them as we tuck them in for the night and hearing them thinking of others before their own wants and watching them drift off to sleep with a smile on their face is better than any gift that would be found under a tree.

  118. I got lots of books. Ebooks and paperbacks. I also got from my sister-in-law a tin with Twilight collection of journals. I also got a book from one of my new favorite series Natasha Blackthorne-She gave me her new book White Lace & Promises. I am about half-way through and loving it.
My son also made me a Christmas ornament at school. Just a plain blulb that has his white handprint on it and made to look like snowmen.

  119. The best thing I got for Christmas was the satisfaction of seeing that Santa was spot on in choosing presents for my two year old.

The highlight in the Santa sack? Lindt chocolate bears! Clever old Santa.

  120. Well, my hubby got me jewelry (which I picked out) and Godiva hot cocoa (which I picked out). The one surprise under the tree was my favorite gift by far–a SNUGGIE. I absolutely love it. I’ve got it on me–mostly just on my legs but I’ve also slipped my arms into it–ALL THE TIME. I never knew I wanted it and if da hubby had asked me I would have said, “Don’t be silly. I wouldn’t use that.” BUT, I’m a snuggie convert.

  121. Love all the actual gifts I received but the best was having my daughter home from college and just spending the day with family.

  122. The best gift would be that my husband and I would get to be together after three years of living in two different countries…

  123. The best thing that I got for Christmas this year has to be my son and his family coming home from London to spend the holidays with us. He also brought me lots of my lovely English goodies that I miss so much, i.e. a Marks & Spencers Christmas Cake, a tin of Cadburys Heroes, lots of teabags and other goodies too.

  124. The best thing I got for Christmas this year was a gift from my kids. They are 9 & 10 and saved up their money to go to a jewelry store to get me a ring. My dad took them shopping and they had enough money left over after their purchase to buy their Pops, my dad, lunch. It was so sweet and let’s me know tht I am raising them right, which is the greatest gift of ll!!
