Being the owner of a sexy store is proving challenging as Madison battles the person she really is. The owner of the hardware store next door sees Madison as the submissive she really is and wants to help unlock it.
Madison is kind of boring. She is really repressed in certain ways and outside of her kinky encounters with Logan, there is not much to her character. The guilt that Madison feels over her sister’s death is too heavy at times and takes away from the sexiness of the story.
The sex is smoking hot but outside of the sex the story doesn’t move quickly. Madison holds back and doubts herself a lot. The fear from letting go and living is stifling. I love that she held Alice thoughts and words dear to her and use them to push forward in and out of the bedroom with Logan.
Logan is one sexy and patient Dom. He really believed in what Alice told him about Madison. So when they first meet, he knows that she is the one submissive for him. He is a kind and strong teacher. He knows exactly what she needs.
Overall, this is a story about letting go of fear and learning to forgive. The sex and steam are just an added and might I say well crafted bonus.
