This sounds like my kind of read. I absolutely adore reading about “wicked Dukes”. I’ve just finished Duke of Sin which was amazing.
What did you think of all the killing?
I must be honest in that I was quite sickened by the way he cold bloodily killed people without any remorse. I knew from reading previous books in the series that he was one messed up Duke, but feel that he should have had the footman arrested for trying to poison him and the other Dukes arrested, rather than being Judge, Juror and Executioner. I could not understand how Bridget would want to be with a man like this.
I think I’m still in shock over it. Still. That was actually the first Hoyt book I ever read.
