Below I have 5 (five) books up for grabs from 2 publishers who supply The Season with the most books to give away — HarperCollins and Penguin Group. Below that I have a poll I’d like you to answer when you comment to enter one of these books. Essentially, I want to know which genre you prefer, why you want this particular book or if you’re using this giveaway an opportunity to try something new. Please, indulge me. 🙂

  3. I would love to win Stephanie Laurens’ book. I’ve read ALL her books, and the Cynsters are my fave!! Historical romance is my preferred genre of romance, followed by contemporary.

  4. I want to win Deadly Notions because I love cozy mysteries (I love the genre). I haven’t tried these mysteries but they look good and they’re free, but you only wanted us to vote on one and the genre was most important 🙂

  5. I don’t know if this international or not, but will give a try. I would love to win Hunter’s Fall by Shiloh Walker, because even I’m not read her books yet, I love the genre, paranormal romance =)

  6. Romance is my favorite genre, although I do read others often, like paranormal, horror, sci-fi, thrillers and mysteries. I would like to read Honey Grove because I’ve never read this author before, and I love the cover artwork.

I want to read Stephanie’s book because I’ve heard such great things about her books and I would love to give them a go. As for Kerrelyn’s book, I have read others in the series and have really liked them.

  16. I started reading the Cynster novels years ago, but have somehow lost track of them. I’d love to read this novel and get caught up on this intriguing family. I enjoy reading different types of romance novels, but historical is my favorite.

  17. I’d like to try Honey Grove. Dellin is a new author for me in a genre that I like (contemp. romance) but don’t read as much of nowadays. Generally, I read historical and UF/PNR. All five books sound good. Thanks for the great giveaway.

  20. I’d love to win Stephanie’s book not only because she’s one of my favorite authors but I’ve been waiting to read Eliza’s story since I first “met” her! I love the Cynster books and one reason is that you fall in love with the characters even when they first appear as a “minor” character.

  23. I would love to win Stephanie Laurens book “In Pursuit of Eliza Cynster”. I am a true fanatical Historical Romance lover. I’ve tried reading other genres, but just can’t seem to get into them. Historical Romance novels allow me to escape into a world of love and laughter where I can forget all my troubles. In fact, when reading a romance novel, I always imagine that I’m the heroine and that the hero is mine. I know, I’m such a sad person, but it makes me feel happy for a time.

Kleypas’ work introduced me in to the genre and since then I eat up everything I can find, from Hoyt, Jeffries, Boyle, to Kendall (of course) and to anyone recommended on this site :). Sometimes I think I was just born in the wrong era. I would love to Stephanie Laurens work. I’ve seen her work on Goodreads and she has been on my recommendation list on Amazon. Once I read any book that’s a part of a series I end up having to find every book lol so it’ll cost me but it’ll be worth it 😛

  41. Some of these authors are new to but what really draws me to many of these books that sounds interesting. Two books that jump out for me are In Pursuit of Eliza Cynster (have enjoyed Stephanie’s books before) and Sexiest Vampire Alive (new author to me but I read paranormals as well).

  48. I would want to win the Historical Fiction, In pursuit of Eliza Cynster by Stephanie Laurens. I own over 300 historical fiction, my favorite being the Regency Era. I can’t seem to get enough of them. I love being able to read new releases before anyone else so I can tell everyone about it. And, Stephanie Laurens is a new fave!

  49. Definitely Stephanie Laurens… She is one of my favorites of all time. Although, these new paranormal romances has intrigued me enough to by them. Richelle Mead with her Vampire Academy series is amazing, especially her spin off series that just begun, Bloodlines. Kerrelyn Sparks and Shiloh Walkers’ book sounds great. I’m starting to like this genre as much as Historical romance.

  50. I would like to win IN PURSUIT OF ELIZA CYNSTER because I love the author and the genre. I also read a lot of contemporary so HONEY GROVE would be fun and a new to me author, plus I’ve read some rather glowing reviews. And finally if I’m going for something out of the box I’d pick DEADLY NOTIONS because while I enjoy mysteries my wallet and I defer to romances. I do dabble in paranormal occasionally, but that typically occurs when a friend recommends it as a must read.

  51. While they all sound good, I love historicals and I love Stephanie Laurens, so my book of choice is ‘In Pursuit of Eliza Cynster’. This new series sounds really good and I’ve never missed reading a book by Stephanie. She’s on my Top Ten favorite authors list!

    Second choice:
    Although Historical Romance is my favorite, I read most genre and would enjoy any of them. DEADLY NOTIONS by Elizabeth Lynn Casey sounds good. Romantic suspense is my second favorite genre, both heavy suspense and cozy mysteries. I have not read any of Ms. Casey’s books yet, but they sound like fun. A librarian and a sewing circle are two things I can truly relate to.

The other three are new to me, so any of them would be a great opportunity to find a new author. I have all of her Cynster series in my collection along with her other books and series, next to my other much loved regency historical authors. And I recently finished her 1st book ” Viscount Breckenridge to The Rescue” and I want to get my heads, mind, dreams, and imaginations in this book ASAP!! 🙂
